Nok Air increases flight bus combination options

Thai carrier Nok Air has announced it will increase its popular Fly ‘n’ Ride services by adding an Isaan destination noted for its adventure activities. The budget airline will add Sawang Daen Din to its combined flight-bus routes from 6 May 2015.

Nok is set to offer round-trip daily services from Bangkok’s Don Muang Airport with the transit location from train to bus at Sakon Nakhon. Outbound flights will leave Don Muang at 08:05 and touch down in Sakon Nakhon 70 minutes later.

There is a 30-minute break to allow passengers to transfer to the bus and scheduled arrival time in Sawang Daen Din is 11:00. The Sawang Sawai Resort is the arrival and departure point in Sawang Daen Din for the Mixbits operated buses.

Return buses leave Sawang Daen Din at 18:00 and arrive in Sakon Nakhon at 19:10. Flights will take off at 20:35 and land back at Don Muang at 21:45.

Sawang Daen Din is in the northern part of the Isaan region and roughly midway between Udon Thani and Sakon Nakhon. Bird’s Paradise Extreme Resort is at the forefront of a movement that is turning the town and its environs into a mecca for adventure seekers. Activities include ultralight aircraft tuition, skydiving and ATV odysseys.
