Lauren BWe were picked up at the scooter store near the port by the mini van.
It arrived at 7:30 and we drove to Krabi (2h30 drive), arriving at Krabi station where you are given your ferry tickets (included in the price), time to go to the toilet and buy a sandwich. You board a large bus for a 2h30 drive. Then change buses at the side of the main road for those going to the islands. Then 30min drive to the ferry. Arrival at 13:42. Ferry to Koh Samui at 14:00 and to Koh Phangan at 14:30. Rather perfect timing. 1:30 boat crossing to koh Samui. 2h to koh phangan. Arrived as agreed at 15:30 on koh Samui. We enjoyed the experience, especially for the value for money. However, there was little or no communication. So don't hesitate to show your ticket to the driver to find out where to go for changes. The buses were comfortable and spacious, and the air conditioning worked. Maybe take a sweater on the bus just in case!

Lorenz GOur Minibus was very old and the second Bus driver was continously playing on his phone. Also the AC didn‘t work properly on the second Bus and it had 29 degrees in the passanger compartment.
Use the toilet in krabi because there is only one stop close to the ferry!
But its a cheap way for backpackers to go to Ko Samui. Next time i stay in Phi Phi. Its way better there

Jacob BWe were probably last minute put into a trip so we were crammed up in a minivan for about 1.5 hours. Then we were last in a bus and of course the worst seats are left for those who are last in. Ferry was fine but that is no surprise.
It is good to call once you are on the pickup spot. Just to make sure all is well.

Bjoern MAdvertised arrival time was never planned to make. It was obvious, that this was just said to lure people to book with this company. Luckily we didn’t book a pick-up at the pier in advance, it would have waited for over an hour…
The mini van was really small, so we feeled like sardines in a can on that 4 hour drive. „Luxury mini van“ is definety something else!

Sarah CWhen booking it says pick up but once you confirm then you may be told you won't be collected from your hotel and you have to make your own way to another hotel. This happened to me. Then they picked up from the hotel opposite mine. Which meant I wasted money and time. This was stressful.

Kaja RHotel Transfer was paid for but did not happen. Had to walk 20min to a 7/11 with all the luggage even though it was only a 3 min drive away. We were told about that only the late night before.
Van was completely full and quite tight in space. The bus was better but we were never really told were to go at transfers so there was quite a bit of confusion the whole time.

Jason BEverything was as expected we didn’t get the hotel pick up we were promised as it was out of the pick up area so beware, if I hadn’t checked my emails the night before we would of missed the driver.
A few passengers reported the same issue. We were collected and transported to the ferry with 2 stops for toilet and food break. Driver advised where to go to collect tickets. It was a long day 12 hrs in total door to door but not as bad as expected
