Got to the ferry terminal at 2pm & gate closed so had to wait another hour for a crossing, because of picking up people from other ferry crossings
The journey was long enough, without wasting an additional 2 hours of the day.
All drivers were polite & no problem

Philippa HI didn’t realise that this was primarily a 3-4 hour bus journey followed by a 1.5 hour ferry. This is entirely my fault! It was incredibly easy, very well managed. Would 100% recommend! Our only issue was the taxi mafia on the other side at Koh Samui (nothing to do with this tour operator but something to be wary of if you choose to catch this ferry!) . We were told 150baht each to lamai beach in one of their tuk-Tuks only for the driver to demand an extra 200 and tell us the 150 was only for the other passengers who had waited longer! Not what his boss had said so be warned about this.

Chelsea Hpicked us up at 9 and took us to krabi pier to then say we are setting off at 11 instead because there was not enough people. set off around 11:15 for the 9am set off. bus ride after was fine (krabi to surat thani port around 2.5 hours) and got straight onto ferry (to koh samui about 2 hours)
