Country Manager of Japan
Responsibilities:
- Manage reservations and any customer support issues.
- Outreach for new transport operators and service providers. Contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Develop the domestic market.
- Analysis and improvement of existing inventory.
- Understanding of industry trends such as the competitive landscape and general business ecosystem.
- Work closely with other departments - Marketing, Inventory, Support, and Affiliate.
- Identify and pursue potential new revenue and marketing channels.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Japanese and English.
- 1-year experience in the travel and tourism industry.
- E-Commerce experience is not required but would be highly valued.
- Highly self-motivated and able to operate with minimal oversight.
- If you are not a native-born or permanent resident, you should be able to manage any visa/residency issues independently.
