Country Manager of Japan

Responsibilities:

  • Manage reservations and any customer support issues.
  • Outreach for new transport operators and service providers. Contract negotiation and onboarding.
  • Develop the domestic market.
  • Analysis and improvement of existing inventory.
  • Understanding of industry trends such as the competitive landscape and general business ecosystem.
  • Work closely with other departments - Marketing, Inventory, Support, and Affiliate.
  • Identify and pursue potential new revenue and marketing channels.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Japanese and English.
  • 1-year experience in the travel and tourism industry.
  • E-Commerce experience is not required but would be highly valued.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to operate with minimal oversight.
  • If you are not a native-born or permanent resident, you should be able to manage any visa/residency issues independently.
