Alles gut, ich wünschte nur, wir wüssten mehr Details über die Reise (z. B. die Zeit für das Abendessen usw.). Außerdem war die Steckdose in der Nähe unseres Sitzes kaputt, aber der Bus war halb leer, so dass wir auf einem anderen Platz aufladen konnten. Das Abendessen ist im Fahrpreis inbegriffen, aber wenn man keine Lust auf lokales Essen hat, gibt es nicht viel mehr Auswahl, also sollte man sich darauf einstellen. Ansonsten sind alle sehr freundlich und stellen Decken und Wasser zur Verfügung. Die Sitze sind auch bequem.

The trip was fine. The room and beds were comfortable and the scenery in the morning was lovely. However, the aircon was on full power all night and couldn’t be turned down/off, so we hardly slept because we were so cold. + there wasn’t a dining car.

Train ticket collection was a breeze at Chatuchuk Park Metro Mall. Staff was efficient and friendly. He even reminded me to be at the train station by a certain time. The train from Krung Thep to Trang was the old sleeper train. Definitely there are trade offs as compared to the newer trains that runs to Hatyai or Chiangmai. However the journey was pleasant. Train departed on time and I think it arrived on time too. Train staff were polite and friendly.

It was the best and most comfortable way to travel from the north to the south. It was great fun too! Felt safe as solo female traveler.
