We received our tickets and walked to the gate to meet the bus driver. We handed him our bags and it was stowed away under the bus. Our personal bags came with us on the bus. David SEverything was fine with the bus, but we stopped at one of the nastiest toilets i have ever seen in my life. Way below the normal Thai standard. Nobody has ever cleaned these clogged, overflowing toilets. And then there is no running water to clean your hands. Just a bucket of rainwater. Seems disrespectful to the customer to offer them this bathroom stop with shit-smeared walls.

Lilli MThe Bus from Khao Sok Evergreen Office was over an hour late and in Surathani was a lot of traffic. We thought we would miss the ferry but the service was perfect! The ferry waited (we were only 5 people!) and we arrived in Koh Tao on time. The ferry drove from 21:30 till 6:00. The sleeping room was big, it had about 30-40 beds. It was okay, every bed had a power outlet and a blanket. I was never on a sleep ferry before so I was a bit sceptic and unhappy about the sleep situation at first. But friends told me that it was above average so it was just new for me and not that bad in the end :). Only the air condition could have been cooler.
Overall it was a good experience and we would book it again!
