Harriet JMÀnniskorna frÄn Bangkok resekontor tog oss till bussterminalen och bara lÀmnade oss dÀr med noll instruktioner överhuvudtaget. Vi undrade runt inte sÀker pÄ vart vi skulle gÄ och försökte fÄ hjÀlp men ingen visste vÄrt företag. SÄ smÄningom hittade nÄgon oss och tog oss till en buss som var tÀnkt att vara vip men verkligen inte var sÀrskilt bekvÀm alls och toaletten var hemsk. Inte trevligt att vara pÄ i 12 timmar

Marit GJag bokade en dyrare VIP-bussbiljett, men jag tror inte att jag fick en VIP-buss. Bussen var vÀldigt gammal, inte sÀrskilt ren och riktigt obekvÀm. JÀmfört med andra "VIP"-bussar som jag har Äkt med var den hÀr definitivt den vÀrsta.

Pierre MGanska smidigt, fick hjÀlp av 12go support direkt via whatsapp nÀr det var ett problem med e-postmeddelandet jag angav. ResebyrÄn var effektiv och verkade pÄlitlig nog. Operatören var trevlig. De tog oss ungefÀr tvÄ timmar tidigt frÄn resebyrÄn till den centrala busstationen sÄ vi var tvungna att vÀnta dÀr men det finns en 7-11 och nÄgra butiker. Killen som tog hand om passagerarna i ths buss var mycket trevlig och leende, försökte hjÀlpa alla och kompenserade för sin brist pÄ engelska med sin goda vilja. Je gav oss en smörgÄs och lite vatten. Det var ett stopp ca 5 timmar in sÄ att vi kunde Àta en motorvÀgsrestaurang genom att byta bussbiljetten mot en mÄltid, det var mycket bra. Stoppet var ganska snabbt sÄ var försiktig sÄ att du inte lÄter bussen gÄ utan dig.
Vi anlÀnde till chiang mao busstation och inte pensionatet som tillkÀnnagavs av webbplatsen, men det spelade ingen roll för oss eftersom vi inte hade för avsikt att stanna dÀr. Men det verkade störa en familj som hade rest med oss och var ganska irriterad över missödet.
Bussen var ok, Jag lyckades sova ganska bra vilket Àr ovanligt för mig i dessa scenarier, sÀtet kunde luta sig ganska mycket och benutrymmet var bra, Jag Àr ganska lÄng sÄ jag slutade ha ett ben ut i bussens centrala grÀnd och klÀmde den andra mellan vÄra vÀskor eftersom det inte fanns nÄgon lagringskompartiment overhead sÄ var tvungen att lÀgga dem under sÀtet framför oss.
Rekommendera att packa en jacka eller till och med en lÀtt tröja för AC som kommer att springa hela vÀgen igenom om du Àr benÀgen att bli förkyld, liksom nÄgra öronproppar eller brusreducerande hörlurar eftersom flÀktarna och AC Àr riktigt bullriga. Vi anlÀnde ganska uppfriskade till Chiang Mai och lyckades ha en hel dag med att gÄ runt efter resan. KÀnde inte behovet av att komma ikapp med sömn och kÀnde mig inte sÄ trött under dagen. SÄ som nattbuss tjÀnar den sitt syfte, Àven om den ser ut som om den kommer direkt frÄn början av 2000-talet och skramlar ganska mycket.

Grace GBussen var inte den pÄ bilden och det fanns ingen TV, snacks som nÀmnts. Jag Àr 5'9 sÄ det var vÀldigt obekvÀmt för en lÄng person men jag fick sitta fram och jag hade mina ben vilande pÄ rÀcket framför mig (jag var pÄ toppnivÄ) som jag mÀrkte att de andra mÀnniskorna gjorde det ocksÄ pÄ de andra raderna och jag vaknade för att bussföraren slog ner mina ben, jag förstÄr kanske det kan vara oförskÀmt i deras kultur men inget behov av att slÄ mig medan jag sov.
PÄ en positiv anmÀrkning gick det mycket snabbare Àn förvÀntat, nÀra 2 timmar tidigare Àn förvÀntat och jag fick drivas till mitt hotellrum vilket var bra eftersom vi kom till stationen runt 5am.
Arbetarna pÄ 12go Àr super hjÀlpsamma och sÄ det var inte förvirrande alls vilket var bra för en första gÄngen upplevelse.
Jag skulle nÀsta gÄng gÄ för den dyrare VIP-sovbussen i framtiden eftersom det var vÀldigt svÄrt att sova.

Emily BPoorly organised bus services. Following arrival at pier, BBC did not clearly communicate with passengers. Passengers were advised that there would be a 10 minute wait, which increased to an hour without being told. Passengers went without food during the wait in case of missing bus however there was plenty of time. From the pier there was a mini van transfer to the bus depot, my husband and I were in the last row between luggage and had to climb over seats and sit with our knees up. Once we got to the depot, the bus was not as advertised. Old, no USB ports down stairs, WIFI was not available and no snack was provided. Again there was an hour wait at the depot which was advertised as 10 minutes. Poor communication, uncomfortable, chairs broken. Would avoid at all costs. The only reason I have scored a 2 is the ferry via SeaTran is prompt and comfortable.

Ronja BNot a VIP buss at all, had way better buses on other trips in Thailand. The pickup was not in time, and it was a small van with non working AC completely full with other people, and was stuck for a couple of hours in that van, before next stop that only had water and chips as only option for food. And then another van again, complete full again, and then another stop and now itâs around 6 in the evening, nobody informs you about whatâs going on. And here we had to stay for another hour and they only had two options of food which was laying in plastic boxes in the outside temperature.. and if you donât want food poisoning you canât eat that. And then finally a buss after more than half of the trip, also completely full, no possibility too charged your phone. One stop after that in the middle of the night, and then we arrived at 5:20 in Bangkok. All in all not a good experience, but we made it to Bangkok.

Julie DI booked a vip bus to be comfortable to sleep during the journey and they did o erbook it so we ended up me and other people on little bench in the down part of the bus with the luggage.
Very uncomfortable and impossible to sleep. The toilet was also not usable.if I wanted this kind of experience I would have paid for a low cost ticket. The changes were fluent tho and quite well organized.

Margot BIn Samui youâll have someone giving you the ferry ticket approx. 30 min before the departure. If you wanna buy food or drinks before the night, do it in Samui : when you arrive at Surat Thani thereâs directly a transfer before getting into the bus for the night (we waited for 20mim for the transfer to go because they wanted to make sure everyone was there, then 1h or so for the night bus to arrive). You cannot buy anything there.
Bus is like 25people, and you have a break around 0.30/1.00 for 30 min where you can buy drinks and food if you couldnât at Surat Thani.
Still the best bus company for us for night travels.

Olivia CThe service in terms of getting our information, getting to the bus and transferring to our hotel was great however on the bus itself we had issues. Our seats were the third row from the back (two seats together) we firstly had very wobbly seats which we realised was due to a loose screw underneath the seats which could not be tightened. Secondly the outside seat recliner did not work so my friend had to sit upright for the whole journey which was not comfortable or enjoyable for her. The price we paid and the âVIPâ standard was not reflected in this service due to the issue with the seats, a recliner seat should be in working condition or stated otherwise.

After changing vehicles for my final destination, the driver asked me for money to take me to my hotel, even though it was supposed to be included in the fare, especially since we had already passed my hotel during the trip. Jelena MThe bus was late and also not in good condition, it looked like it was from the 1960s, most of the USB ports were broken, some seats could not be reclined, very little leg room. The staff was far from polite and professional. When we arrived at the place where we need to transfer to another bus the staff simply started screaming in the middle of the night and scared the living shit out of everyone on the bus that was asleep or half asleep. They were screaming everyone heading to Phuket get off here, when what they actually meant was Everyone needs to get off the bus so there was a lot if confusion due to bad communication on their end. The screaming staff was the worst I have ever encountered, and can just say if you travel with them donât expect anything even close to the word of customer service

Do not go by the things mentioned in the amenities because none of them were provided, the charging points are broken, not even a water bottle was given you can forget about snacks and food.
The seats were very uncomfortable. We couldnât even stretch our legs. Forget about sleeping.
Initially was taken to a place three hours away in a mini bus, then transfer to this So called bus.
