Elephant jungle sanctuary Chiang Mai

The guide was very nice, entertaining and knowledgable. We were picked up from the hotel and they took us in the jungle, in the middle of nowhere where their sanctuary is. There we fed around 8 elefants, bath them and played with mud while getting them ready for night. We also went through checking the elefant before the vet visit. The meal was tasty, we had vegan option and as anywhere in Thailand, that was not a problem. We love the idea and mission these people live on everyday basis. So much better than going to the zoo or doing elefant riding. The animals there were so happy. Even the baby ones. I will definetly do it again, next time for whole day or even two days, with sleep over!

A really good experience, even better than I anticipated. It is quite well organised, but communication was a bit staggered at times. The pick-up instructions in the email were a bit ambiguous. Very worthwhile though!

This trip was amazing in several different ways. 1. The tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, and spoke a variety of languages. 2. The elephants were approachable. We took a mud bath in the mud with the elephant. 3. The river swim with the elephant was amazing to swim with an animal of that size. 4. The free lunch was Buffett style and delicious. It gave us time to sit as a group and discuss the day. There was no signs of the guides ever forcing the animals to do anything they didn't want. And it was evident there was a long bond between the elephants and the guides. It was truly a memorable event.

This trip was incredibly fun... We truly enjoyed every minute of it. Totally worth the money spent. Thank you...
