The bus itself and the service was pretty good. You make a few stops in between to use the restroom and/or get some snacks. At one of the last stops the bus left without me..! All of my belongings were still in the bus, but please watch out when you leave the bus, even when it’s just for a few minutes. With some help of the staf at the Chiang Rai busstation I was able to get my stuff back.

The journey was overall absolutely fine! Comfortable seats and everything. The problem was however, that we arrived 2 hours earlier than scheduled in chiang Mai, which was inconvenient. However the drive itself, finding the bus etc was really easy and not as much as a hassle as some people make it out to be :)

The trip was good - the bus departure time was moved 30 minutes earlier and we left and arrived on time. The seats were comfortable - the problem was they reclined all the way back which is comfortable for you but not when the person in front puts theirs all the way back… Also there was an unpleasant smell from the toilet at a few points in the journey. But overall it was a good service and got us from A to B

Untrustable information. I couldn't find the counter at the bus terminal. It's written 37 counter. but that is 61(not sure because I was in hurry). Is this VIP bus? There is no power plug. The seat is not big enough.

Overall the tour was great. The bus was extra comfy, with blankets, headrests, leg rests and arm rests. Seats were also good. We paid 990 bhat to travel from Mochit to Chiangrai in the Luxury bus. The cost was high, we could have booked a VIP bus. But, as it was the end of the year of 2023, we didn't have much options. Anyway, the bus was very comfy and we didn't feel the usual body pains after the journey. The bus had enough stops to have coffees, snacks etc. Even we were provided with a small sponge cake and a bottle of water at the start of the journey. But the bus was not in time. Although it has to leave from Mochit at 18:15, the bus left after about a delay of one hour. And the delay was there for the entire journey. Overall the journey was good, the operator and the bus attendant were also good.

The ViP of Budasakan is not comfortable than Sombat tour while price difference is only 100 baht.. Some seats are out of function. Operators can't understand English. The rest camp in midnight is dirty. Food are careless items. If you need to gett off for your desire destination, the operator and driver will not welcome even they waisted of time of the whole trip and delay of arriving. I'm sure that I will not choose these tour next time when I travelling.

Buss departed 1 hour late and the trip took in total 5 hours longer than advertised. Even if traffic up north was horrific they could have made some early announcement to try and warn potential travellers. Lost one day vacation due to extended travelling and had to re-schddule several bookings because of arriving very late. Other than that the bus and the ride itself is quite okay..

No satisfied with the speed of bus, cleanliness and time of arrival! Also the driver didn’t speak any word in English and on every stop he was saying things to the passengers in Thai which I don’t understand.

The bus arrived to the indicated platform on time. The staff was helpful with us to stowe the bagpacks in the bus hold, telling us where we had to get off. We even had separate seats with my girlfriend and the driver was kind enough to ask a passenger to change seats so that we could be together. The seats lean back ok, although they're not the most comfortable ones for a long ride. They give you a bottle of water, a snack and a blanket. Overall good experience.

The seats didn’t recline no even enough to have a nap, sleeping was impossible, also they’re massage chairs which doesn’t work. The curtains are not black out, the bus stopped a lot on the way and arrived at the final destination 1 hour and half before

The bus station at Mochit was extremely crowded; people were standing everywhere near the port for our bus. It was impossible to tell which bus was mine. An hour after my bus was scheduled to depart, i was told to get on the bus that was in our port. (I still think i was on the wrong bus, but i did arrive in ChiangMai.) The air conditioning ran all night, and it was running too cold. There was an air conditioning vent above me and the seat next to me, but they both leaked, and so even though I shut the vent, it was still leaking cold air. There was a table in front of me, but there was no outlet, so i could not plug in my laptop. Not a fun trip.

The ride itself went very smooth. Pretty comfortable seats, head rest and blankets. We were able to sleep There wasn't a meal handed out though we didn't check if there should be beforehand. I didn't look for the bathroom or used it so can't express an opinion on it. The bad parts were A. It was too hard understanding who is the person to ask at the platform about the buses after an employee at the counters told us to go to platform 14 without anymore information. B. The bus arrived to the platform about an hour late(all the buses to Bangkok were somehow very late). C. The bus wasn't even marked as one that belongs to the mentioned operator in the order(Budsarakham Tour) so we were only aware that it's our bus after questioning the woman with the lists that was yelling about buses arriving at the platform. D. The seats we booked were irrelevant because everyone just chose their own seats and neither the driver nor the woman with the lists said anything about it so we had to sit where there was a pair of seats available.

Surprisingly my partner and I slept okay on this bus but I don’t know how. It was swaying left to right so violently at times we felt like we had to hold on to our armrests and each other for fear of being thrown out of our chairs. The steward spoke little to no English, and refused to give us tickets with the food vouchers for the half way stopover which really sucked because we were relying on those for some food. For the second time running, the seats we booked on 12Go didn’t exist on the bus we were assigned and we were moved, but that wasn’t too bad. This bus had blackout curtains which helped a lot, and the chairs reclined enough for some sleep. We left on time and arrived in Bangkok about an hour and a half earlier than planned.

Please make an toiletstop in de morning. Nobody speaks English. The bus driver didn’t want to take us with him. He wanted to send us to an other bus. We had to convince hem that this was the bus we had booked. The toilet at chang mai is the most filthiest toilet i have ever been.

Overall the drive went off without a hitch, however, we were pushed to the bus after the one we booked which meant we missed out on working entertainment units and modern facilities like was on the bus we originally booked. Then, because it was bucketing down with rain for most of the drive, rain started entering through the air conditioner vents getting my partner very wet throughout the night. We thought it might just be the AC dripping, but it seemed to stop once the weather improved. The stopover was fine, at the halfway mark so be aware a later bus might stop in the early hours of the AM, but no one cares to explain that we could get free food from the hall with our bus tickets which we took advantage of. Lastly, just to clarify things, it would be good for 12Go to be more specific with the departure location. Mochit got a little confusing so make sure if you’re taking Bangkok public transport to specify Mochit Bus Terminal on Google Maps or whatever you’re using.

It was great, we slept the entire way. The seats were comfortable, and we were given water and a snack! 10/10 nothing bad to say about the experience, we also got in about 50 min earlier than expected!

All the trains were sold out so we had to take the bus. Make sure you arrive early in order to find your bus. The bus station itself is huge and there are almost no tourists. Speaking English doesn't help a lot, but people can direct you in the right way if you show them your ticket. The plattform itself was crazy busy. Although our ticket said platform 14, it can also be that your train leaves from neighbouring plattforms. The announcements on the plattform were only in Thai and also the bus didn't have the companys name on it. The only way to find your bus is again showing people your ticket whenever a bus arrives. A lot of busses were late, so they tried to fill up all the seats of the bus with people, so you might not get exactly the bus you booked. The bus itself was fine. There was one toilet/food break in the beginning. Shortly after that they turned out all the lights in the bus so everyone could sleep. I would still prefer the sleep train, but if that's not working out - the bus is a fine option.
