Better than the last trip we did with Sinh Tourist when we were all put on the back so did not have our own space (make sure you don't get seat numbers 36-41) but this one was fine. As usual the beds are a little short, especially for one our group who is 6'5" but that is to be expected on all semi-sleepers. Air con was also freezing cold, but again that is the same for every sleeper bus in SE Asia. So in terms of in comparison to others, Sinh Tourist still does a fantastic job!

The bus was old and not very clean. There was no airco on the bus; it was extremely warm.

We arrived and the bus had a defect (basically, not full) so they send you to another company where the same quality standards for which you paid cannot be guaranteed.
In this case, 12go.asia tells you to refuse and ask them directly for a refund. However, from reviews, this refund never comes. So you get scammed a few bucks in the process to get on the other bus.
We got rebooked on the company Futa: good sleeping buses, clean, arrived on time. Better to book directly with them!

The bus is very clean and comfortable. The pickup in Hue is doable, being stuffed with 10 in an 8 people van for 5 minutes. We were not allowed to take a quick stop at a toilet, not even when the bus stopped to load goods in Da Nang. Close to Hoi An the driver yelled something and apparently it was the bus stop. Concluding the bus was great but communication is terrible.

Before the bus leave Ho Chi Minh they already let us know that the AC is not working and told us after we pass the VIETNAM-CAMBODIA Boarder we will transfer to a Van so me and my friends okay with that we suffered for about 2HRS sweating inside the bus we rode from HCM til Cambodia Boarder then we transferred from a van but still the AC is still not working well. So another 4HRS sweating when we arrived Pnom Penh we waited for our chartered bus going to Siem Reap but unfortunately the bus is too hot inside AC not functioning so well. Everyone in the bus are complaining. The while 18hrs travel from HCM to Siem Reap was been a sweating experience. Staff are approachable but don’t do anything about the situation. They come along the boarders but didn’t inform what to do there. I can’t recommend this travel agency.

The bus departed on time(7.30 am). The tickets had seating numbers(which is nice). We received bottle of waters(one each).
The driver drove calmly smooth(a bit surprise for me). He controlled the speed very, didn’t drive too fast.
There was one stop for a rest and WC, and had a kiosk to sell some food and drink. It arrives on time as mentioned (11.30). Bus condition and cleanliness were ok.
Air con was ok when in Dalat, but a bit hot after left the mountain area.

Not sure what was “semi” sleeper, and have not used this service before. As an older couple on the top bunks it was interesting but once settled we were fine. Good to have a toilet break. On time service.

Bus itself was comfortable but we were meant to arrive at our destination at 6:30am, instead we were dumped at 4am with no way to check into our accommodation as reception didn’t open until 7am. Not impressed, this would have been downright dangerous if I was by myself!

The staff in the office was great - nice and helpful. Bus was comfortable and the ride was smooth. However, the steward/conducter in the bus was very rude, did not allow food in the bus, eventhough this rule was never mentioned by the staff in the office or in the list of rules on the bus and it seemed to apply only to foreigners, as vietnamese tourists could eat there without problems. He was also very careless with the luggage, he even put several bags of people who boarded the bus later on his seat and then slept on them (!!!) because he did not feel like putting them in the luggage space. The behaviour of the bus personnel really ruined what otherwise could have been a very pleasant experience.

Fast and right at the door of our resort. Sleeper buses can be scary if you are not used to Vietnamese driving. Don’t look through the front window and listen to some music and you have a nice drive

It should be made more obvious that wed’d be fobbed off with another operator on an old and uncomfortable bus with poorly trained staff (no communication during border crossing whatsoever), and how hard is it to list an accurate destination arrival time?). “It’s asia” doesn’t cut it anymore. SinhTourist and Long Phuong need to up their game. 12Go should update this trip to include details/photos of the actual bus company used (Long Phuong Cambodia), we should at least get an accurate description for the premium of booking through the site.

In der Buchungsbestätigung ist die Adresse einer Sinh Tourist Office im old town quarter angegeben. Aber dort bekam ich nur die Info, dass der Bus von der Sinh Office 2 abfährt, etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt. War für mich kein Problem, aber mit mehr Gepäck und bei Regen wäre das bestimmt kein lustiges Unterfangen. Die Office 2 ist ein eher ungemütlicher Ort zum Warten, da direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße gelegen und rundherum Motorbike Werkstätten. Es gibt auch nicht wirklich viel Platz für wartende Fahrgäste und schon gar keine Sitzplätze. Die Busfahrt selbst war eigentlich recht gemütlich. Kritikpunkte: Der Busfahrer schaut penibel genau darauf, dass niemand mit Schuhen den Bus betritt. Man gibt seine Schuhe in einen Plastiksack, den man zu seinem Platz mitnehmen darf. Der Fahrer wird sofort laut und schimpft, wenn man nur kurz versehentlich mit einem Schuh in den Bus steigt. Ich kann es schon verstehen, dass es besser ist, wenn gerade ein Sleeper Bus sauber bleibt, aber man kann das auch freundlich sagen. Außerdem war es im Bus für meinen Geschmack viel zu warm. Die Klimaanlage war zwar leicht an, aber eben nicht kühl genug. Und ich war mit kurzem T-Shirt und kurzer Hose bekleidet. Auch andere Fahrgäste meinten, es sei zu warm. Die Platzverhältnisse sind auch relativ knapp bemessen in diesem Sleeper, wobei man hier die Beine besser ausstrecken kann als in anderen Schlafbussen. Das ständige Hupen bei Überholmanövern und Kreuzungen fördert nicht unbedingt die Nachtruhe, gehört aber zu einer Reise in Vietnam dazu. Insgesamt, trotz der Kritikpunkte, eine gute Fahrt..man kommt günstig von A nach B und erfüllt somit seinen Zweck.

The bus ride itself was good. We just wanted a transfer to Phong Nha but became part of a group who took a 1-Day Trip to the National Park. Since we were only a few passangers we had plenty of space and everyone could occupy two seats for himself (which was quite neccessary regarding the fact that our legs are too long for the average space between the seats). It was nice to get some informarions from the guide of the trip.
Quite bad are the english skills of the lady at the Singh Tourist at Hué. She was not really able to explain the time we had to be there so we've waited 30 minutes before the Singh Tourist even opened and the 25 minutes until the bus arrived.

Le trajet s'est tres bien passé, les sièges sont confortable et nous avons pu dormir
Le prix du trajet était moins cher sur place et le bus était loin d'être plein mais payer 2 euros en plus et avoir la tranquillité d'avoir son billet en avance est aussi une bonne chose
