The journey was pleasant and relaxed. The bus was comfortable and AC worked well. We had a stop on the way but the driver could have informed us if we could use bathroom ect.

The driver on Bus 109 departing 11:00am from Trieste to Pula was appalling - 2 near accidents. The view of the countryside. The driver was not apologetic for causing distress to passengers. One near miss with an oncoming bus early in the trip raised anxiety levels to high. The long phone calls on speaker resulted in one passenger yelling loudly “GET OFF THE PHONE” which was ignored. Another near miss resulted in a young child being thrown about the vehicle and adult passengers grasping for the seat in front. I grabbed the hair of the woman passenger in front of me for which I later apologised. Not happy at all. Marilyn Furness Australia.

It was a good journey but with some room for improvement. It’s affordable. The route was very panoramic. The coach arrived with a delay of about 25 minutes. Also the driver didn’t provide any welcome nor information along the way, for instance, to inform passengers about the next stop.

Unknown platform - the bus nearly left without us. At least the driver was kind enough to stop when he saw us on the wrong platform. There is no platform indicated on the ticket. The Trieste Centrale bus station has platforms both indoors and outdoors. 5 minutes before departure the bus was nowhere to be seen. Not outdoors, not indoors. Since covid many buses have moved outdoors so we waited outdoors assuming it would eventually show up. It did, but it was leaving without us until it stopped. The ticket collector started throwing insults at us for blocking traffic. An extremely unpleasant experience to think about during the 4 hours of our trip.
