Delia ZI booked a combi travel from Bangkok to Koh Mak over 12go Asia. Before I booked I wrote a mail to the support to ask if there is a transfer included from Trat Bus Terminal to the Pier. They garanteed me over mail that a transfer to the pier is included and sended me the link to book the jorney. So I trusted them and booked the package. On our way to Trat. 15 minutes before the Bus Terminal, the bus driver said that everybody who want‘s to go to koh Mak or Koh Chang has now to leave the Bus, so we got out on a small market in the nowhere. There was a private Taxi Service to the Pier for 100 Bhat each person. They told us that 12go asia are lyers, there is no transfer included and if we book the bus directely in Bangkok and the ferry on the ferry station we would have saved 140 Bhat each of us 😏 after calling the support from 12 go Asia they told us on the telephone, that in our voucher is no transfer included. Great! 😏 but we got to Koh Mak with a few extra costs and that‘s the most important thing.

Oddmund TAll well up to Thailand border, after bordrecrossing we changed to a new minibuss. We had to wait 2 hours for two more passenger in order to fill all seats in the bus.

Chloe COverall was ok. Left on time and was more like a large van, not a big bus. There's only room for bags in the narrow aisle on the ground so when 12Go mentions to get an extra seat if you have a big bag, they're not kidding. Seats don't recline but aren't rock hard. We stopped for one bathroom break on the way to Trat, about halfway. Air conditioning was working and we didn't crash so really what more can you ask for?

Alexandra Ltrip from Trat to Bangkok, so obviously the most expensive ticket, but unking lady put us at the last seats of the bus, which were the most uncomfortable. Asked to changed but no possible with stubborn lady. Not logic when other people step in the bus with less time to spend in the bus.

Berit PThere was noone at the counter at the busstation when we had to check in at ekkamai. It gave us big difficulties getting on the bus and also to continue fra Trat (we payed a private driver). The rest of the trip worked well.

Viele Gäste unterwegs ohne Haltestellen zu- und ausgegestiegen.
Bus hat ebenfalls viele schwere Pakete unterwegs zu und ausgeladen
Minibus fuhr nicht zum Pier. Weiterfahrt war aber organisiert
Fahrer jedoch war hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Karen HLook it's all super cool okay, you show up and secure your seat belt, tell them where you are going and youd reach your destination on time, no problem. Minimal buggery if you are going to connect ferry ride to one of the islands. My half baked Thai notwithstanding. Prefer buses to claustrophobic plane seats and airport queues anytime.

Christoph Lno one wanted all the documents 12go asia told us to print (we extra made a medical certificate which costs us a lot) and also just a few (so did we) weared a mask in the bus... but all in all it was a chilled ride with no problems at all.

Michael CIt was not clear that a Minibus does not pick you up at Thammachat Pier. First you must find the company office who will then arrange a songthaew to take you to a waiting area outside of town. Then you must wait for the minibus to come from Trat. Also the bus doesn't stop at a regular gas station rest stop. It stops at a small Thai-style rest stop a few hours into the trip, so I'd recommend using the restroom and getting drinks or snacks ahead of time.

Glyn HThe ticket said we would depart from the pier, which is why I bought it. Upon arriving they told us we wouldn't leave at the scheduled time and we needed to pay for a taxi to a different departure point. This wasn't mentioned in the initial information about the route. After waiting for an hour extra, the taxi journey took a long time and dropped us at a road side stall in the rain. We waited for an hour before a bus came. When it arrived there was not enough seats on it, so we were made to wait for the next bus. Despite having prebooked our seats 2 weeks in advance, people who bought tickets at the bus station that day were given priority over us. After waiting another 30 minutes, the only free seat was over the wheel arch. So my girlfriend has to sit with her knees in her face, as squashed up for the 6 hour bus ride. Another disappointing part of the trip was the driver continually asking me in Thai to do something with my bags. I quite clearly didn't understand and made it clear I didn't. But he decided to keep repeating the instructions. When I tried to do what I thought was being asked of me and it was wrong, he and a passenger started laughing at me. It was lucky another kind passenger came and explained to me what I needed to do.

Stacey AVan did NOT go to stated destination of Koh Chang pier..I was left at Trat bus station and forced to pay huge money to get to pier..please check you destinations!!! Scary situation in quiet place with just one man who stopped taxi half way and made me pay.

Paul The driver was stopping multiple times to collect certain packages. This took a big amount of time. When we almost got to the pier, he also had to take detours to drop the packages which again took a lot of time.

MICHAEL Arrived 1 hr early, and there was immediately a van for me. A.C. worked. Driver safe. Lunch stop offered duck, boar, venison curry. Connections to ferry were smooth. All good.

Bassem Gets you there. There’s a change of bus at Trat, where you get on a smaller one to the pier. Then ferry to koh chang’s northernmost pier. From there you either rent a bike 200thb/day or more, or take a taxi/minibus for 40-150thb depending on how south you want to go on the island

Susann On a "direct" Trip I had to change busses, I didn't know that and I probably would have been lost, if the drivers didn't care so much.
The bus left in time at 5 am, I got to the pier an hour late, so make sure you have no appointments.

Guido With 16 man in a van just as big as a vw transporter for more than 5 hours , absolute not meant for western longer than than 1,60 meters please when you go koh chang take a touring car instead of this transportation

Ann-Carin We were not informed that the bus stopped at Road No 3 and we had to go the last 30 km by a public songthaw. It was very tight to sit and as we were the last passengers, we got the seats closest to the back part. If we had known this, we had choosen another company.

Stefan Bus arrived 25 min late. Older Toyota Coaster with wear and tear for its age. A minivan (toyota commuter) left on time, is quicker than 4.5 hrs and cost THB200, but I had prebooked my ticket.
