Toyo scheduled minibus driver didnt tell that tyre had a problem but kept driving. on the way, he decided to replace types without telling passengers anything .... and took 30min break at some bus stop. he might have already known all.
spent one more hour than expected arrival time.
recommend travellers take van or bus operated by tour operator, not by public scheduled bus.

Furio PSome chaotic organization of the trip, they sent me 2 times to the wrong pier on the way back and let my 2 yo daughter under the sun for almost half an hour. On the way to Ban Phe the bus had no shock absorbers basically.

Flora AMini bus service was so horrible. The driver's safety behaviors with operating the vehicle, routes management, he talked on call whole 4 hours, we had car broke down moments as well as unsafe bumps along the way, he stopped at many gates along the way too. However, speedboat service was alright but we were not asked to wear life jackets.

Gabriele SDriver delayed the trip several times stopping, getting out and disappeared leaving us with closed door for whatever reason. Thus it took almost five hours to reach the pier. When some travellers asked for a toilet stop he reacted grumpy, gave us five minutes. At least one toilet stop should be granted.

ANTHONIA FVery uncomfortable trip. We left at 1:30 PM and arrived at 5:30 AM. The driver did not slow down at speed bumps, and since I was sitting at the very back, I was literally bouncing off my seat every time — it was painful.
The air conditioning barely worked, and it was extremely hot inside the minivan. Stops for gas and toilets are understandable, but the lack of slowing down and poor AC made the journey really unpleasant.
If you have a choice, take a big bus instead of a minivan — it’s much more comfortable and you won’t feel every bump.

Fabiha EI have paid extra money for special treatment, as I have medical condition, I have back and spine problems. There was no assigned seats and I had to seat at the back, the ride was very bumpy which lead to my spine hurt.

Anne CThe boat wasn't there at the time it should. The other boat driver told us, it would come 1 hour later. Unfortunately we had a ticket which included the bus to Bangkok. Our own company Phittinin had no staff at the pier.
The employee of another company was very helpful and organized, that we were able to
use another boat without extra charge. This was very kind, the boat trip was good.Everything else of the trip with the bus of Phittinin worked perfect.

Jakub BWe booked a connection departing at 12:00 from Ekkamai. We arrived in advance at 10:00. But the woman there told us that the bus is full and we have to wait until 14:00. What? We booked our seats online in advance. How is it even possible that you sell more tickets for a connection than how many people can actually fit in. We payed at your website and the price was about 100 baht higher then if we bought it at the station. So if I pay a higher price I expect also higher service. Not to wait for a connection which departures 150 minutes later than what I booked. Yes we departed at 14:30 even though we booked a connection at 12:00.

MAKSYM MThe bus is 1,5hs late, no sign, no explanation. No seat number. The driver is rude. The bus is not as on a picture. Instead of big comfy bus we got tiny minivan, where none of us tall Europeans ever felt comfortable. No legroom at all, so we slouched all the way there, 3,5hs. The driver was stressful, unnecessary fast and reminded us more is Mad Max married Fast Furious and they had a crippled child.

Not even sure what the stops were for as he would disappear off and then reappear but we would all be left on the bus. At one stage he ripped off what looked like a bus permit .

Linda IThe bus was so tiny. I’m not a big person but could barely fit in the seat. Also, is was very bumpy the whole ride. When we arrived at Ban Phe where the boats are to take us over to Koh Samet, the people stressed the hell out of us. I had to go to the pharmacy 1 minute away from the check in counter and they said the boat doesn’t leave before 15 minutes, but one minute later they rushed us to the boat. They drove us on a scooter to the pier where the boat was, and when we got dropped off they asked us to “hurry hurry hurry”. It was not a great arrival, felt super stressed for no reason at all.

Paphatson KWe booked a 7 am bus with the plan to catch a ferry to Samet at 11 am. At 7 am no bus was in sight and was told the bus will only leave at 7.30 am. We ended up leaving the station only at 7.45 am. The staff on duty was not very friendly either. We ended up missing our ferry and took the speed boat instead.
In addition to that the condition of the bus is very poor..not very clean looks outdated, not well maintained and makes a lot of noise.
Overall had a bad experience and wouldn’t recommend it.
