Cherry Bus

E-ticket showed where we needed to go for pick-up. Left on time, during the trip made multiple stops which caused us to be 1 hour late, didn’t bother myself too much as I understand that the coach becomes a local bus after a certain while so keep that in mind. Only real gripe is that the driver was on his phone while we were going up a mountain.

Nice and peacefull. Good for to relax and enjoy the scenery.

My first time on the Jolly bus. Be careful with being dropped off at the PPS terminal, it’s in the middle of nowhere and will cost you and additional 200-300 peso’s by trike.

Nice trip

I had booked an Express bus with a Deluxe WC, but an ordinary one arrived The bus was late 30minutes. I had paid for the Express, which was supposed to reach my destination in 5 hours. Unfortunately, I had to travel for 7 hours, where the bus stopped at every stop. .

I had a flight to catch and they did everything to get me there on time. Can’t thank them enough can deffo recommend. Wish i knew the name of my driver and his mate so i could thank them personally for that!

Timing wasn’t an issue for us but we did get there long after we were supposed to which is good to note if you have a flight. Other than that it was great

Left from El nido to Puerto Princessa at exactly 9. Did do a few pick up and drop offs along the way for locals. Arrived in PP by 2:30 (15 min later than scheduled). The bus drops you off about 30 min out of town, does offer to take you to the airport for an extra 250 pesos. My group declined and we got a tuk tuk for 200 pesos. Overall it was a smooth experience, bus had AC, did stop midpoint for snacks and bathrooms if needed. There is a bathroom on board, it does start to stink a bit.

Bus left on time and stopped for a 15 minute break so we could use the toilet and buy lunch.

Comfortable and arrived earlier than expected.

We stopped probably a dozen times along the way to pick up and drop off locals. Just keep that in mind when booking that it's not a straight through trip and make sure you take something for the motion sickness because the roads are very windy and the driver breaks a lot.

Maybe the only thing in Phillipines that ran on time

Amazing trip! Comfy seats, A/C, driver skills. I would always choose this before a Van. We arrived 20 before. The break was well timed!

The bus departed on time and the ticket collector was friendly. The bus had air conditioning and was quite empty, which made the journey comfortable. We travelled on a Monday and arrived in El Nido slightly earlier than expected. The total journey time was 6 hours and 30 minutes, which was better than the original estimate. There were no unnecessary delays during the journey or long stops along the way, which was great. At the end of the trip, once we were already in El Nido, we asked the driver if we could get off a little before the final Cherry Bus stop, as our hotel was located there and we had luggage. We only asked because there was a safe shoulder in some areas with no parked cars, so it would not have disrupted traffic. The driver refused and told us to wait until the final stop. This felt uncomfortable, especially because he had stopped several times earlier along the route for other passengers. As a result, we had to take a tuk tuk back to our hotel. This small courtesy would not have affected the journey for other passengers. Another couple of tourists also wanted to get off at the same point as us. I felt that the refusal may have been because we were tourists rather than locals, and the driver did not allow any opportunity for discussion. For this reason, I am reducing my rating by one star. Overall, the journey was good, comfortable, and faster than planned.

Bus is clean and relaxing but it doesn't drop you to Puerto Princesa. It drops you to Irawan so you still have to pay to get a tuk tuk to Puerto Princesa

The bus was very late and we had to sit in a cramped van with no air conditioning for an hour to get to the bus.

The Bus is shaking a lot up and down.

Everything was fine....seats are pretty comfortable loads of leg room so no complaints about that however, A/C is operating on full power. 6h on the bus with A/C on makes you cold after a short while. Change that guys please, turn it down to 50% and still would be nice and chilled but it wouldn't make you cold. Next day I had a sore throat, blocked nose full of mucus and warm body. It's a big thing for me as I feel ill and have absolutely no energy to explore beautiful warm country right now. The other bad point is....first two hours the play a movie and it's loud as f...! We travel on the bus for 6h....and we rather do it in quiet atmosphere so we can have a nap. Let's be fair....no one is I tested watching those old movies from years back. Stop doing this guys. Apart of that great value for money.

The bus itself is good, seats are comfortable and they recline, the air conditioning works well, however the actual roads are very rough in some patches making it bumpy ride.

Much more spacious than a van. My husband and I are tall people, and we had more than enough space for our llegs on the lazy boy bus 😃 Staff was very friendly and the bus left and arrived on time. Just an advice, wear pants and jacket because the AC is crazyyy. Super cold inside. We strongly recommend this company!

It was an awesome comfortable way to get between El Nido and Puerto Princesa without the squeeze of a mini bus

Nice comfortable bus, and plenty of leg room on board. Took only 4 hours and 40 minutes to get to El Nido, but the bus driver goes way too fast. It's a very curvy road, and he was consistently above 80 km/h so the alarm sounded all the time. From our party of 3 people - 2 threw up underways, and they don't usually get car sick.

It was a comfort to have a toilet in the bus but to actually use it was scary. The road was bumpy and going into the toilet may cause unnecessary accident. Music was too loud to sleep. Make it as a background music.

The driver was a little bit dangerous..

Choosing cherry bus is truly a better option than using a van (either private or shared ones). I would like to say thanks a bunch to Mr. Poland C. Inao because you have driven so well on the winding roads from El Nido to Puerto Princesa, so that it doesn't make my stomach queasy for about 5 hours (even though I had anticipated it by take "antimo" when we started leaving the terminal). Additionally, they offer us a drop-off option e.g. to airport, hotel and etc. with a reasonable extra charge.

Bad Communication, you have to pay 400pesos extra to actually get to destination

It departed 40 minutes late. However, we just arrived 15 minutes after the original arrival time. The bus was really comfortable.

The driver was very friendly, the bus looked good from the inside, the lavatory was clean. Only issue I had was that the driver was moving full speed throughout the trip. Didn’t slow for turns, speed bumps or pot holes. As a result, everyone was being jolted around like rag dolls and woken up many times (if they tried sleeping). At least the driver got us to our destination safely and on time.

Okay, probably better than the regular buses. But the Vip-bus clear needs maintenance. My chair couldn't return to the upright position, the airco was missing parts so it blew very hard in my face all journey and the toilet couldn't be locked anymore. Pity, because it could have been so much better with a little effort

All perfect, the bus, the departure time, and the arrival time, the only bad thing is to get to the bus terminal of Puerto Pricesa that is 30 minutes from the city center and there is only Tuctuc to transport. the price of the Tuctuc we were charged 500 php.

It took us five hours from Puerto Princesa to El Nido. The bus we travelled with was comfortable as you can lie down so it is quite cozy. The seats need cleaning. The bus driver was driving pretty crazy, the same speed no matter if its a curved or straight road, so we did get a bit sick.

Really nice big seats, they also reclined. Please note the location on the ticket isn’t correct location but if you get a trike they know where Cherry is so we’re very helpful.

Very slow. Only one rest break. It stops multiple times en-route to pick up passengers from the side of the road. It was late arriving. Overall it was comfortable, safe, the staff were friendly. Didn't understand it wasnt a non-stop or limited stop service, more a coach that provides a local service.

The booking page said there would be wifi on the bus but there was not. I was planning to get work done but there was no access to the internet.

Bus is old,stop only 2 times on trip from 6 hours isn't good..driver was ok

Very reliable booking. Fast and easy. No problems at all. Best way to get to El Nido from PP. Definitely better than taking a van (vomit comet).

Great! Comfortable, spacious, modern bus, clean, great view of the passing scenery. BYO tasty sandwiches or something for the trip before going to the bus depot, wouldn't want to rely on the food at the three truck stops.
