С бронированием билетов всё было как обычно просто, посадка ровно в 5 утра, микроавтобус был очень комфортным и новым - большие мягкие сиденья и много места для ног, а водитель был милым. Через 3 часа после отправления прибыли на границу, прохождение пограничных пунктов заняло час, потом доехали до Хатяй, покружили немного по нему, высаживая пассажиров, в итоге в 10 (по малайскому времени) прибыли в местную автобусную кассу Nominatee Tour, где получили билеты на 10.30 на автобус до Сурратхани, пирса Донсак. Из-за смены часового пояса ожидание автобуса заняло полтора часа - есть время купить симку, поменять деньги, перекусить. В турагентстве есть wifi и розетка. В 10.30 прибыл наш микроавтобус, уже не такой комфортный - постарше, мало места для ног, половина места в салоне занято коробками, бесконечное количество раз водитель останавливался, чтобы погрузить-выгрузить эти посылки, поэтому продвигались очень медленно, к тому же водитель всю дорогу громко разговаривал с местными пассажирами - поэтому это довольно местный способ перевозок, без "сервиса", похожий на регулярные междугородние маршрутки в России. По прибытии водитель выдал проездные на паром, успели на паром в 17.00, через час прибыли на пирс Натон. На всем пути было достаточное количество остановок в туалет/размяться. Распечатывать билет не пришлось, на Пенанге водитель их не проверял, в Хатяйе кассир попросил переслать его на их емейл и выдал билет.

the first driver from Georgetown to Hat Yai was good but the second driver from Hat Yai to Krabi was terrible, he had 4-5 breaks for smoking and he almost ran down the motorbike

The Company does not run a direct bus, they bring you first to the Penang busstation where you have to chance to the other buses. But when you book or get your ticket at the office nowbody tells you that. The staff in the office is rather unfriendly und dosent help you.

This service will get you from A to B but not without some stress along the way. I had a slight delay when passing through the Thai border and upon exiting the terminal I could not find the van anywhere as the driver had not informed us where he would park. After phonecalls to the office and the driver I managed to find the van, with a very annoyed and unaplogetic driver. Who had asked us each for 20 baht surprisingly, which is odd considering it's free to cross the border and we had already paid our van fare. Coming back, it was incredibly difficult to find the departure point as it is pretty tucked away. Again we were asked for money when arriving at the border by the driver, 3 Ringit each now.
All in all, arrived safely on both trips which is all we could really ask for.

If you can avoid this company I would. The seats are nice but the journey took over 12 hours, was an hour and a half late and they made us get in a taxi to another stop 20 minutes away as the bus just did not come to the Georgetown stop. Check trip advisor and google reviews if you don’t believe how terrible this company is.

An interesting ride...
We arrived at the terminal 30 mins early (as instructed) only to wait for another hour before boarding, while the driver chatted and smoked with the office staff.
Once we set off we were going incredibly fast until the boarder crossing for Malaysia to Thailand and began the hour long customs procedures. This is when we found out that the driver had unpaid fines when a government official stopped us from passing. The driver was short more than half of the penalty which all the passengers had to crowd fund in order to continue our journey.
After clearing the border we made it to a undesignated drop off area and were told to exit the vehicle and wait for another bus. There was no information on our tickets to suggest that this would happen so you can imagine our confusion with the minimal information and language barrier. After waiting for 10 minutes a taxi collected us to take us to another bus stop (after collecting another passenger) and we boarded another bus for the final leg of the trip.
Overall, this is a very basic service where you as a passenger are at the whim of the organisers and whatever undisclosed arrangements that they have. The locals seem to be well informed and weren't phased by any of the driver's antics, despite arrinving more than 3hours later than anticipated.

We booked the 08:30 from Georgetown with estimate arrival in Krabi at 15:00. The New Asia Travel office was well marked and easy to find at the Komtar Bus Terminal. We confirmed our online booking and received our boarding passes. Our van arrived around 08:25, the driver walked around in front of the office looking at peoples' tickets to make sure they boarded the correct van. The van left on-time, around 08:35. Our van was completely full (10 passengers and the driver). We made two stops before the border for bathroom breaks; at the second stop, the driver collected passports from all the passengers and completed Thai immigration paperwork and collected 7 RM per person. The border crossing was very easy - van dropped us at queue to exit Malaysia and picked us up at the other side (less than 10 minutes); then we were shuttled to the Thai immigration building to enter Thailand, they accepted passports and immigration paperwork provided by the driver with no questions and the van was waiting for us again on the other side (15 minutes). Everyone left their bags on the van during this time and we were not asked to go through customs. At this point, we were hopeful that we would be in the same van for the duration of the trip. However, after about another hour of driving, the van stopped at another travel office. A man asked for passengers for Krabi and we were asked to get off the van. At this travel office, the attendant accepted our boarding passes and exchanged them for another boarding pass. In about 5 minutes, another van pulled up and we were told to board. This van was also full (every seat had a passenger and some seats were loaded with furniture). This van stopped at a rest stop/restaurant for bathrooms and lunch (there was an ATM, if needed). We arrived in Krabi town at 16:30 (approximately 1.5 hours late - there is also a one-hour time change between Malaysia and Thailand). It is a long travel day and not particularly comfortable, but the vans were new looking, the border crossing was easy, and the transfer process was relatively seamless.

There are so many negative reviews about this company but they are actually okay. Yes the staff didn’t smile much, yes we had to change bus once but they got us where we need to go in the end and only about 30mins later. Also they actually dropped us at KL Sentral which is so much more convenient than TBS. they are also super cheap. I will use them again!

The bus schedule has changed. I had gone to the bus office so I had changed my flight early or I must wait many hours. 9:00 to 11:30 then I will lose my plane. I did not get the seat I reserved because it took other passengers that go nearby on the bus. But still had empty seat.

The place to board the bus was not easy to find. On the voucher there is a tiny map and the coordinates and a picture of a van (bus). The picture of the van is not useful at all, much better would be a picture of the travel agent where you have to go to.
Had to change busses after the border, which was a bit confusing but OK.
Did need a printout of the voucher, even though it said just to have it on your mobile was sufficient.
Fee at the border was supposed to be MR 5, but we had to pay MR 7. And quite frankly, I can fill in a landing card myself, without having to pay.
Thai side, after switching bus, was a bit better. Confusing was, however, that we had to go onto the ferry, with our luggage still in the bus and the bus did not arrive with the same ferry, but the next one.
Whole trip took 12, rather than 10 hours, even though both drivers drove aggressively and probably often over the speed limit.
All together: arrived safely, but the experience could have been better.

The van was supposed to arrive to krabi at midday but it arrives at 15.30.. we lost the last boat to Phi Phi that was at 15h. Because of that we have to stay one night in krabi and we lost the reservation in phi phi.

Why do you have to fill a minivan with 14 people without having to leave luggage? We sat like in a chicken coop. No room for our legs. Bus was 6 hours late, but no one was informed. Shortly before the border to Thailand we were offered insurance for 5RM per person, but without explanation, for what. Very dubious ... Our tour went from Penang to Suratthani on 31.08 .... Have fun if you want to book the same tour

A nice trip. They kindly dropped us to our hotel in Hat Yai. Passport procedures were handled very smoothly. BUT, it is a mini bus people ! Maybe not so great for the over 50s. Next time We will probably take a regular bus or train.

Trip was fine except the driver drove the entire journey with his foot on and off the accelerator pedal every few seconds, it made me feel quite sick and I was relieved to get off. This style of driving also wastes a lot of fuel. Apart from this the journey was good. Thanks.

It was chaotic and disorganized! We were not given any instructions before, while and we crossed the border. And we did not appreciate that we were shuffled from one van to another. The drivers (after crossing the border) were rude! I/we will NOT recommend your company!

The trip wasn’t that bad as there was only a couple people in the van. My biggest problem was finding the pickup point and no one would answer my calls. The pickup point is on the opposite side of the road as the bus terminal in case anyone has this problem.

I missed my bus and they let me take the next one, with only a small extra fee, which was nice. However, when I changed vehicles to the connecting bus in Hat Yai, we had to wait about 3 hours. They did not inform anyone about this very long waiting time, and they should have done so, as it hugely affects someone's travel plans. I let it go because I was grateful that they let me take the next bus after I missed mine, however the other people were also very upset. First they wanted to make us wait 4 hours, then when we complained they changed it to 3.
We changed vehicles twice. On the last bus, when we arrived in Phuket (my final destination), I very politely asked the staff-member if I could get out sooner than the last bus terminal, as it was a more convenient location for me. He completely refused to let me get off the vehicle, even though we stopped many times and other passengers got off, he actually would not allow me to get off the bus! That is crazy.

The first bus was amazing and organised. Set a good time for the trip. The second bus was cramped, chaotic due to lots of miscommunication with baggage and language barrier and we were very late to drop off point due to driver dropping passengers to lots of different small stops

You get what you pay for, if you can avoid and choose the proper bus you should definitely do this !!! Feels a little unorganised, wasn’t on time but still got us from A-B and B-C. Trip will probably take longer for the drivers breaks but they do still have to have a break so fair enough. Overall, 48/100, can risk it and have the experience to tell the story of it or be comfortable and get on a proper bus :)

The bus stank and the pick up location is not accurate. A different bus had to take us to the actual bus station when they noticed we were at the wrong station (we were at the location in George Town but its wrong).
