We booked our night drive from Vang Vieng in Laos to Pakse through Sarah Transport. They were responsive and informed us on whatsapp about our journey which was nice.
Unfortunately we were dropped off outside of Pakse centre which was not the drop off point as mentioned on the digital ticket that we got from 12go. Thus we had to take an additional taxi into town which costs us extra. I informed Sarah Transport about it on which they responded that the drop off on the ticket was not the right one.
It is the fact that they did not deliver on what is promised on the ticket that I'm giving them an average score. Also after mentioning this to the company they did not respond back anymore. Not even an apology for the inconvenience.
The bus also didn't feel very VIP-like although I'm not sure what the standards are here. I wouldn't book again. It felt overpriced.

Confirmation was immediate and it was easy to find the departure point. Van was nicer than others I recently booked in Laos. We arrived on time with one short stop (2 hr trip Vang Vieng to Vientiane). There is very little legroom since the seats recline, but at least it is more comfortable for your back.

Bus was old and a bit broken but confortable enough. No proper stop to go to the toilet on a 7 hour bus ride (toilet on the bus not good at all and only a quick stop in a field!!!)

(This is for the Vientiane -> Vang Vieng bus/van). It was okay. It was not the same van/bus as the picture, it was much older. But it worked so I don’t really care. Our hotel was out of the pick up area so we went to the sarah transport office (near veintiane night market area) 30min before the time it was scheduled for like we were told. We didnt end up getting picked up until 30min after the initial time we were given - so we were there waiting for almost an hour. Didn’t bother us, but that information just wasn’t clear. We were fine waiting there though, there was outlets to charge our phone and it was cool in the building.

Information was clear. Tour operator office was easy to find, there was a waiting area, toilet, and the woman running it spoke good English. Left and arrived on time. The minivan was comfortable enough, although not a lot of leg room. One toilet stop just before arriving in Vientiane.

Driver of the first leg of the journey wasn't great. (Speeding, playing on his phone whilst overtaking) However the communication and service by Sarah company was excellent. There was a car waiting for us at the 1st drop off point which took us to our bus. The lady collected our tickets for us and checked which bus we would be boarding. She made sure we had everything we would need, and if we had any questions before leaving. Excellent service, let down only by the 1st driver.

We booked two trips with Sarah Transport (Vientiane -> Vang Vieng and Vang Vieng -> Pakse via overnight bus). Both times everything worked well. For the night bus trip there were long waiting times at the office of Sarah Transport in Vientiane and again at the bus terminal. But these were communicated clearly beforehand and we knew what we signed up for. We were a bit nervous about the night bus but they did a good job explaining everything. They brought us to the bus station and walked us to the bus we needed to take. The night bus itself was an adventure, for sure. IF YOU ARE A SOLO TRAVELLER be aware that you'll share your bed with another person. The beds are quite small and I doubt it's possible to sleep in there without physical contact. If you don't mind, you're good. In case that's a problem for you, you might want to find yourself a travel companion beforehand that you don't mind spooning for the 10h you'll be on that bus (we arrived at 7:00am, scheduled arrival was at 8:00am). We travelled as a married couple so that was fine.

This could have been at least 1 hour shorter. We waited a long time for other people at pickup and then again for the same people at the toilet break.
At some point you have to leave people behind/not take them, I am sorry. What other sense does a pickup time make?

Excellent service, would highly recommend. I was in contact via WhatsApp and every question was answered. The drive was much quicker than we thought and so much cheaper than a private transfer despite being just as quick and comfortable.

As there were only four of us on the journey the bus left once we had all assembled, twenty minutes early.
The bus was comfortable, aircon worked fine and the road between Vientiane and Vang Being was good and clear.

The price is not as it is listed as you have to pay extra for the toll. Just bear that in mind if your considering your options as you’ll have to pay 140,000 extra

First class although minivan left 30 mins later than advertised. Comfortable, good AC, toilet break on way. Plenty of space. Met at pier and directed to boat for Don Khone.

It Was Ok. We arrived late and even after that the driver didn't know where to go. So I was actually guiding him to final destination with Google maps.

Overall good. The process was easy and the staff were super helpful.
However, I wish I was given information more upfront. I did not know where I was going and what the next steps were. Most importantly, 12GO should have made it very explicit that the sleeper bus to Pakse from Vientiane is shared. If I had known, I would have booked for both seats and not shared with a stranger.

It arrived late about 8 hours. It was said to be at 2.30 pm and it arrived at 10 pm. The driver in Cambodia was very unpolite. He was doing some small business during the journey he stopped very often and we waited. We had to seat with our backpacks on our feet. The wind screen in the car was half broken.

The sleeper bus was VIP and great and the lady at the terminal was extremely friendly, assisting us to get our tickets and take us to the correct bus.
Once you cross the border you are told to wait at a coffee shop, however it’s non functional and we waited best part of an hour here. You are then put in a minivan which takes you to a restaurant. We had to wait here for two hours, and was told we’d be on the first bus to Siem reap. Of course, more and more people turned up and we saw people getting on buses to Siem reap before us despite our group being left at the restaurant over an hour longer than those.
Once we arrived in Siem reap we were told we would get a free Tuktuk to our hotel but BEWARE as the guy who got us in his tuktuk(once we had loaded all our bags and were sat waiting to go) wouldn’t stop trying to sell us his other tours and then said we needed to cover 3 USD for his gasoline for the ten minute journey. After a 24 hour travelling day this is NOT what we needed.

Le transport s’est très bien passé et était confortable. Nous sommes arrivés à l’heure. J’aurais mis 5 étoiles, mais le chauffeur s’endormait au volant, ce qui n’était pas très rassurant.
