Jessica RSeatran office in Surat Thani easy to find. Smooth journey. Very helpful staff. Is a little cheaper (by ~100 baht) to go straight to Seatran office and ferry yourself if feeling more adventurous

J BWe left later because the weather was bad. Our ride during a storm at sea. This was not a pleasant experience for us. The crossing will certainly be better when the sea is calm.

Morris KThe ferry we booked that was scheduled at 1, was cancelled but luckily the ferry before was delayed. But we were not told that until the last moment and left in confusion.
The ferry is very old, but surprisingly the AC was working fine. All in all okay, but will checkout other provider‘s next time.
The driver to the port was on time and fast.

Rik RThe trip was sold as a taxi+boat pickup, giving the impression that one would be picked up by a taxi and transferred to the boat.
Actually; it was a shared minivan + bus + boat transfer. We ended up with a ridiculous situation in which we had to be ready at 7:30 at the hotel; the minivan showed up 8:25; drove 30 minutes through Surat Thani to pick up someone else and finally dropped us at the main office of Phantip that was effectively 500 meters from the hotel. The bus that was supposed to leave at 9; didn’t leave until 9:15. So we almost travelled 2 hours for 500 meters, thinking we booked a trip via 12go to exactly avoid such trip. I’m quite disappointed.

Boarding the ferry we also a little confusing as to what the process is.
That being said, once we realized there is no process. It was simple.
