バン旅行のメリット
- バンはたいていバスや列車が運行できない目的地まで行くことができます。小さな町や村がそれに該当します。
- 多くの場合、バスよりも小型で小回りができるので、陸路での短距離を移動するなら、バンは最も素早く目的地に到着できる手段です。
- バンは便利なルート中の地点で下車することができます。ターミナルでの下車は実際のところ、時間とお金がかかりすぎます。
バン旅行のデメリット
- 荷物に限られたスペースしかなく、バン内が混雑することも。ほとんどすべてのバンに十分な荷物のスペースがないので、1つ以上のバッグ、スーツケースやバックパックがある場合、料金が2倍になりますが荷物用の座席を予約することをおすすめします。
- バンがスケジュール通りに運行するのか、それとも満席になったら出発するのかを事前に確認しましょう。後者の場合、ルートによっては満席になるのに時間がかかることもあるので、バン内で待機する時間が長くなる可能性があります。
- バンの運転手はスピードのある運転で有名です。評判の良いバン会社でも、運転手にスピード制限を守らせるのは難しいことも。運転手から依頼されなくても、バンでの移動中はシートベルトをしっかりしめるようにしましょう。
- 乗り物酔いしやすく、ルートに多くの曲道がある場合、バスよりもバンの方が車酔いする確率が高いです。念のため、出発の30分前に酔い止め薬を飲むようにしましょう。

J’ai commandé un van 9 places car nous avions beaucoup de bagages et souhaitions un confort plus spacieux.
Nous avons eu un 4x4 à notre arrivée !

The taxi didn’t show up at the time I requested so I had to call the operator and wait more than 30 minutes. It was extremely difficult to find the taxi since no license plate, name card, or company name was given to us to locate the driver.
When the driver finally did come, they stopped at a shop on the way to the airport and gave someone else a ride part of the way. It felt very strange since I had booked a private taxi. This, on top of being late made the experience very negative.
There are many taxis and minivans outside of the pier offering rides to the airport for the same rate so it would have been less of a headache to use one of those than to book ahead of time.

Good experience. But would have been helpful to have driver standing with a sign with my name for quick identification. Although I went to the designated pickup spot, I had some trouble locating driver, since there was no sign with my name.

Appointment for pickup was at 3.15pm.
We left the airport at 3.39pm. The car just arrived one minute before. Luckily we made it in time for the ferry to Ko Yao Noi at 4pm. Otherwise I would rate here only one *.

Es hat alles funktioniert und der Fahrer war sehr nett, leider war bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich das unser Hotel außerhalb liegt ( waren direkt am Patong Beach) und musst dadurch nochmal eine Zusatzgebühr bezahlen.

- Private Taxi didn't come
- We had a back and forth with the hotline until they found a new solution
- 2 hours later a shared van picked us up and drove us to the airport
- there we have waited 20 minutes until a private taxi picked us up and drove us to khao lak
- the promised us 50% discount
- the ride with the private taxi was great. Big, new and clean car

Great car, great value. Had no issues with the journey at all. Driver also briefly stopped for us to pick up my wife who was dropping of the hired scooter. Also very responsive on facebook. Would use call me taxi again.

The transfer itself was alright, driver came on time, car was clean and in good condition. However, during booking via 12go we were informed that there is 200 thb surcharge for early morning pickup but there was no information that this surcharge is not included in the price we paid via 12go. Plus misleading information from 12go, we received a voucher via e-mail and after that we received another e-mail saying that our transfer is not confirmed yet. Helpline did not reply in time, so we had to contact directly Call me taxi which confirmed our shuttle immediately and were very helpful (in contrary to 12go).

Stressed us as the driver did not pick us up in time and we had to reach our flight. As it was night, we didn’t see options kn case the driver does not turn up. Gladly the pdf file contained your 12Go Asia service number that helped. If I would mit have been able to reach you, I think we would have missed 3 flights and heavy costs. The drivers excuse was he did not find is but I added the adress in English and Thai language. He should have proactively look before or contact us or you

I booked exclusive use of a minivan for me and my family from Phuket airport to our Hotel in Kata . On arrival at the airport I was greeted by the driver who although very polite, tried to put our family of 5 including 3 children plus luggage into a small hatchback with room for 2-3 people plus luggage at a push!!
I could have taken a cab from the airport for a quarter of the price for this! Or 2 cabs comfortably fitting my family for half!
After refusing and standing firm I was told it would be 40 minutes for the minivan I had ordered and paid for in advance! After complaing further a van miraculously appeared 5 minutes later.
I believe they commandeered a van from a ‘one man band’ operator who was very polite and I cannot fault.

Even though I booked a taxi for 3pm (as my flight was landing around then), 12go Asia said they sent a driver at 2.30pm... and when I arrived around 3.15pm (flight was slightly delayed), there was no driver waiting for me. He left apparently because I was delayed and he was there from "2.30pm". Even though I requested a driver for 3pm....
I had to wait an hour and 40minutes for someone else to come pick me up, with no warning regarding this. The number I was given to contact kept hanging up on me or not picking up. And the support team was slow as anything getting back to my emails of concern regarding a driver. When they did reply, they weren't very helpful or concerned that I was stood up for that long. They tried to blame the flight delay for him leaving, as if they were doing me a favour by sending someone 30mins earlier than the landing time of my flight??? I would probably think again before booking with 12go again.

Driver was right in the time. He find us in the exit for arrivals in the Krabi Airport without any problem. Car was very comfortable, with A/C and place for luggages (please note that we travelled in low season).

Great service, even at 3 a.m.
The driver was on time, super friendly and a safe driver. Great new car (same as on the picture!). That was my second longer drive with call me taxi as a female solo traveller and I highly recommend.
