Cat Ba Discovery?
Cat Ba Discovery?

Connor HThe operator changed my date to the next available bus after I booked it on the wrong day (silly I know), and also organised a shuttle bus drop off to my homestay for the night. She was super helpful and kind

Flo YPickup was late and the driver did not drop me off at my hotel, claiming that cars could not go down the road where the hotel was located. That claim turned out to be false.

owen MHe drove around Hanoi for over an hour with no idea where he was going and wouldn’t admit he was lost and then we arrived at the airport with 3 minuets to check in our bags before it closed despite getting on the bus 4 and a half hours earlier for a 2 hour trip

Michelle SIt was confusing. There were 3 mini-buses involved, not of which was a "limousine". I was expecting a private car. The first mini bus was about 30 mins late so then drove very fast and erratically to the next stop, where we were told to change mini-buses. This time it was called a "limousine" - it was a very comfy mini-bus. I was falling asleep when we stopped again. I thought it was a toilet stop but we got transferred yet again, this time to a car. However, we made it to the airport earlier than expected.

Jonas RI accidentally booked for the wrong day and only noticed half an hour before departure. Immediately after reaching out to Cat Ba Discovery on whatsapp, they organized a different bus for my party of 3 on the same day, departing at the same time as I originally booked. 10/10 customer support

Christian KDriver was on time. First I was shocked because they packed us with 5 people and the luggage in a car. But they only drove us to the bus. The bus was also a bit full, some luggage had to stay in the isle, but it didn't bother. They even drove me to my accommodation which was some km away from the final destination of the bus. I can recommend.

Sarah LI was extremely disappointed that after booking this service a month prior and regular messages with operators about drop off hotel details they waited until we were on board to say that they would no longer be able to drop us at our hotel. I had been messaging the night before! There is some street closures in the city on the weekends but our section was not affected. We were told to pick one of two drop off points then find transport from there.

J T
Jared TRight after the booking they contacted me about the trip. Then, nothing. I received no driver confirm and no van plate confirm. I reached out the night before to find out what time I would be picked up and got no response. Hours later I called and someone answered after about 10 rings. Then the line was silent. Got a message from another WhatsApp number saying they couldn’t contact me because their line was blocked. And then nothing. I asked for driver info they said ok and then nothing. The morning of pickup came and still nothing. Then finally from a third number got van confirm that said I would be picked up in 20 min. He arrived in 3 min. It was so frustrating with lack of communication. Will pick different company next time. There are plenty to choose from.

Alexandra SThe service was incredibly well organized. I booked transportation by bus and ferry to Cat Ba. We had a typhoon that caused a shutdown of all ferry services, but I didn’t even notice it because the bus took us directly to a cable car, which we took instead. Another bus was waiting for us on the island.

Roger ZOverall, the trip was great. The limousine was clean and almost new. The idea of picking up and dropping off in the place each passenger stays is amazing. But the driver rode too fast in Tam Coc. It is not the place to ride fast, was unnecessary and generate peril to the other people who was cycling or walking.

Bastian DCommunication was excellent. We even were taken from our Hotel in Hanoi to our home stay in nihn bihn, no extra cost.
Therefore however the departure and arrival time can differ as multiple stops have to be considered with multiple people going. But the communication is really quick and not a hussle at all.
We even booked the way back again because we were really satisfied and can absolutely recommend!
