1. Overbooked ferry. Many did not have a place to sit.
2. AC did not work most of the time and people had to keep asking the operator to turn it on.
3. The ferry smelled of petrol all the time because operator did not keep the doors closed.

Original company Starfish pit us on a Tannis vessel so I can't comment on Starfish as a cruise company. Travelled with Tannis in the past and have had no problems.
One thing I would add- the business of asking people to wear lifejackets while inside the vessel is completely wrong. Whether the 'agent' of the company eas asking people just try the jackets on may have been lost in translation. Luckily all passengers who tried the jackets did take them off

The engine cut out in the middle of the sea, waves were absolutely huge even on a nice sunny day. No aircon, many seats were not screwed down to the floor so people were being lifted when going over waves. 2 hours late to arrive

Good welcoming and accompaniement from the office to the boarding, very good point. The boat was not in very good shape inside but ok. A member of the crew watched very loudy and annoying videos on his phone, no problem with watching videos but please, put headphones or go far from the others with low sound settings, otherwise, it would have been 5 stars on the service quality.

On Board the staff says there is no direct connection so we did Stop at 2 Gilli Islands. Not 1,5h but 3 hours.

The boat arrived 1 hour later than expected time, but we were not surprised cause we read that in a lot of comments. The boarding starts at 9, not the departure, and we had a stop at Nusa Penida, they gave us 30 min, but once we were all in the boat it took another 30min to depart cause they were refilling the tank and the smell of fuel was strong. No air conditioning but if you seat next to an open window is not that bad and you will have an extra refresh with the waves. After purchaising the tickets you have to go 1hour earlier to the ticket office to wait for a tag and a QR code to get on the boat, and pay the taxes. They could generate the qr once purchase is done and save a lot of time.

30min late but it's OK, service is nice, people are kind. a bit messy to go and leave the boat. AC is available but smells bad so they advice us to open the windows but it was really hot inside so really unconformable.

A l’heure et equipage sympathique.
Trop de musique sur le pont supérieur et nous avons du passer une partie de notre trajet sur le pont supérieur au soleil (entre gili trawagan et gili air soit une vingtaine de minutes) a cause du surbooking souvent pratiqué par les compagnies a Bali.

The trip was fine. The only problem is that we ended paying twice the entrance fee of Gili T. We paid 10k when we left Nusa Penida and then when we arrived we had to pay another 10k for the entrance fee. It smells SCAM...

The counter of Starfish in the harbour is difficult to find and the boat departures much later than is indicated on the ticket. The temperature on the boat is good and the seats are comfortable. Also, the boat takes longer to arrive then is estimated on the site but with a little help of Google, we already figured that out. So, keep in mind that you will arrive at least an hour later than stated on the ticket.

The crew members were good at keeping us updated with expected arrival times. They were efficient in loading luggage and people onto the boat. There was a good safety briefing at the beginning which put me at ease when travelling. Although the boat did smell heavily of petrol and the aircon was subpar. The journey over was a bit rocky I did get sea sick!

Escogí esta opción aunque tenía muchas valoraciones negativas aunque en mi caso todo fue bien. Salí un sábado a las 10.30 desde Nusa Penida a Gili Air y el barco fue completo pero no overbooking. Llegamos algo tarde ya que el Puerto de Gili T estaba saturado. Lo único negativo es que te piden 10k rupias como tasa del puerto de salida en Gili Air cosa que creo q se han incenra pero this is Asia.
