We paid for the premium rate for a Lazy Boy bus with a toilet because we expected a more comfortable and convenient experience, especially for a long-distance trip. Unfortunately, what we experienced was far worse than the ordinary bus service.
During our trip to Bicol, the bus stopped four times because the engine needed to be worked on. On two occasions, we also smelled smoke inside the bus, which caused several passengers to shout and become concerned about their safety.
As a result of these issues, our arrival was delayed by approximately three hours.
We had also booked the same premium service for our return trip to Manila. However, upon arriving at the terminal, we were surprised to find that we were assigned the same bus. Instead of addressing and fixing the problems first, the bus was used again for the trip back to Manila.
The situation became even worse when we reached Lucena, where we were made to wait for approximately two hours. It was only after a passenger complained that we were eventually transferred to an ordinary bus. This caused another delay, and we arrived in Manila approximately three hours later than expected.
To make matters worse, instead of being able to rest during the long journey, passengers had to endure the loud snoring of another driver inside the bus, which made the already uncomfortable trip even more frustrating.
We paid a premium fare specifically to receive a more comfortable, reliable, and convenient service. Unfortunately, we did not receive the service we paid for. Instead, we experienced repeated mechanical problems, the smell of smoke, significant delays, an unexpected transfer to an ordinary bus, and an overall disappointing and stressful journey.
What is even more disappointing is that despite the many passengers who complained at the DLTB terminal in PITX, no immediate or meaningful action appeared to be taken to address the situation.
We hope DLTB will take this complaint seriously, investigate what happened, and provide an appropriate explanation and resolution. Passengers who pay for premium service deserve to receive the quality, safety, comfort, and reliability that they were promised

It did not meet my expectation, I book 8pm yet when I settled the payment it change into 8am, I thought I mistakenly book the time that is why I book another, then it happened again I book 6pm and confirm it before settlement yet after another settlement it became 6am again. I was disspointed.

Tooooooo many stops! I am aware that travelling time will be around 7-10hrs as it’s not my first time to travel far. But it has taken us 12 hours! There were stops seemingly every 3 hours? In the beginning more frequently about 1 hr. Yes, I understand it’s for other pickups but it was not properly stated in the description. Also be aware of many sellers who get on the coach and sell food. Was not pleasant having to be disturbed by them almost forcing passengers to purchase goods. Lastly, my chair was slightly malfunctioning as the reclining feature seemed to be loose where I had to constantly recline when I moved.

The air conditioning was set far too cold. Unfortunately, I was not dressed for an artic adventure and was only wearing short pants and a t-shirt.
Suggest anyone not to select seat No. 18. This seat had a vertical bar separating the windows but it stuck right into my side so I was unable to sit straight up in the seat, This was very uncomfortable sitting with my body in a twisted position for 12 hours.
The general drive overall was at best very jerking as the driver weaved in and out of the traffic lanes to pass other vehicles. As a result, the driver continually was required to accelerate quickly and then hit the brakes to avoid collisions. Pot holed roads and poor suspension on the bus added to the discomfort as well.

Crazy experience was in PITX, its a real mess just getting an actual ticket, isa lang yung nag pprep sobrang haba ng pila tapos walang maayos na nag assist, dapat hiwalay pila ng mga online booking na bayad na, and yung mga nag wawalk in lang apaka bagal sobra, 1 hour ako nka pila just to get the ticket, unbelievable
aside from that senior citizens or pwds were not prioritized kasi walang proper lines to begin with
Other thing may na late na passenger, we waited 30 min. dapat sa mga ganyan walang sense of resposibility iniiwan, may appointment kami the following day and muntik na kami malate

Too many stop over. Naga to manila and vv usually takes only 8hrs or 9hrs on other bus line companies. Based on experience, dltb co. Always exceeds 10hrs on average due to long bus stopovers and delays.

Seats are not comfortable compared to others. They said it is a lazy boy seats but too narrow not we slip down from our seats everytime the bus takes a break. They accept passengers along the way and make frequent stop overs

Even though I already have a booking, I still need to queue up because others are lining up to buy their tickets, and my daughter was stressed out for almost an hour due to a lady getting upset with a teller. But after an argue with the lady and teller they settled and the queue starting to move. My daughter start to queue about 8:30 and then im arrived at 9:30 and i got my qr code by 10am. The bus arrived around 11:15 am and we are arrived in daraga exactly 2am almost 15hours travel.

The estimate time of arrival was very underrated. From a possible eta of 1630pm to almost 2100pm. Just be reasonable and not put some time that was far from a reality. The bus itself was nice, comfortable. One thing, having random people come on board to sell “food items” was not good. That’s a breach of security and absolutely not comfortable in purchasing anything from them.

The trip was fine, but the first stop over for lunch was not comfortable. It was very hot inside and yung singaw inside smelled musty. Sana mag stop- over sa kainan that was a bit more comfortable nman. And isang comment pa po yung mga window curtain po ng bus masakit sa ulo ang amoy. Sna po napapalitan din. Nagcomment po ako dito not to put you down, but to help you improve your service even more dahil suki na ako ng dltb.

Overall, we had a comfortable experience with the trip. Bus and cr were clean. And driver & conductor were helpful & friendly. 2 hrs prior my trip, a DLTB staff also called me to confirm my booking and reminded me to print the voucher. I think printing the voucher was the only inconvenient part of the process because the Qr code is already there in digital format so I don't understand the point of printing it. The trip was also estimated 10hrs but was 13hrs in total (Legazpi - Manila) but understandable since it was just an estimate. But overall if it weren't for the printing of the voucher, it would be a seamless process and convenient experience.

We could smell the CR from our seat. Since it's a closed vehicle, I think there should be a way to deodorize and maintain its cleanliness.
On a positive note, we enjoyed the food stops.

My bus travel was scheduled at 11am so I arrived on site at 10am just to read a message that it was moved to 1pm. The bus arrived at 2pm with technical problems. Every stop over they fix the bus and and after hours of waiting we are transferred to a different bus. The drivers are good and polite, but the management is the one to blame, they ahould check every bus before nila i byahe because so many lives are at stake. We arrived in legazpi at around 9am na so too late. But salute to the drivers they accepted the rant of every passengers even though they are not eeally the ine accountable for it

The supposedly 0530H trip was delayed we left manila AOR at around 8-9am. Although the delays due to road conditions is justifiable but the delay in departure is not. The supposed coaster should have a washroom but it didn't, although they've refunded an amount around php. 250 but the fact that these amenities are presented and already payed the passengers already conditioned their mind about the comfort of the ride but it was just frustrating. Overall the cost, time and comfort is poorly rated compared. If you could do a ground audit yourself about the said trip it would be much better.

The bus didn’t arrived on time. So many stop over and vehicle maintenance. The supposed 12 hrs trip became 20 hrs trip. We stopped twice at DLTB garage/ terminal for machine maintenance(they said there’s machine malfunction). The bus is not clean, the safety handles are broken.

The bus was not very comfortable (some seat could be inclined, others not. Some were broken). The bus left 30min late and arrived at Manila more than 6 hours late (so we arrived around 1pm instead of 4am as planned...). It seems to be usual, just be prepared for it.
We were not asked to print the tickets, we just went to the ticket office in the train station, showed the pdf receipt and they printed the tickets for us.
