The bus ride was delayed and it took us more than 13hrs to get to Chiang Mai from Bangkok. No information was given at any point about the delay during our trip. There was a beeping sound throughout the ride and the hostess when informed did not care at all. But the worst was the smell. It smelled like piss because the toilet was so dirty. Imagine 13 hours in a bus smelling piss…

I've taken this trip a few times, and this last time was the worst. There was an overwhelming smell of diesel, and many people were uncomfortable uncomfortable. It was impossible to sleep.
