I have found that my long journey from Bangkok Mochit to Chiang Rai Bus Terminal 2 by Nakhonchaiair's Gold Bus was very comfortable. It was as though I was traveling on a business-class flight where the seat had a good foot rest. In addition to the bus driver, there was an attendant who looked after passengers. Since there were several non-Thai people, including myself, it would be nice if the bus attendant could speak some English. She made some quite long announcements at the beginning and at the end of the journey in Thai only. I expected that any announcement on the bus was also conducted in English, though.

I appreciated the service a lot since they gave us dinner and it was really unexpected. Unfortunately the bus wasn’t comfortable but night buses are always though. Overall good service

Seat too hard, not comfortable at all, I had blood circulation cut off in my thighs and then an electronic device rang every 5 minutes during the whole trajet

Great on-board service (blanket, snack and water) and a dinner stop. We left a few minutes later and arrived a few minutes later. But all in all, good experience

The journey was absolutely fine. Enough room, air con was good, seats were fine. We had a bottle of water, some biscuits and blanket provided on the bus and stopped at 2am for a free dinner which was included with the ticket. The lack of communication was the only thing that let this journey down. Getting on the correct bus was an experience in itself and I wouldn’t have know anything about the dinner if it weren’t for the nice Thai man next to me who was keeping me updated. I also didn’t know how many stops would be made before mine as I could find a route map anywhere.
