Because of the sea the ferry was late and than instead of trying beeing punctual in bangkok we had to wait 45min for the bus, the first stop takes 45min and all in all we was late about one hour
The ferry went via Koh Tao, meaning it was rammed and we didn't get a seat for the first hour. The 'meal coupon' at the ferry pier gets you a cheap orange juice and a banana muffin. Most problematically, during a monsoon our bus leaked, meaning everyone with a window seat got a steady stream of rain on them. And we arrived two hours late.
Other than that, it was fine.
The trip was good and comfortable, boarding the ship was well organized. I wish we had a little more time at the pier inbetween boat and bus. To be fair, the bus was delayed in the end so we had a total of 35 min break there, i wish it was like it by default (originally we had 20 as we left the boat as some of the last people). The bus was very comfortable with a lot of room for legs. The bus trip took around 6 hours with an additional 25 minute break at a stop with a shop with snacks and a nice food court. And the drivers and staff were amazing every step of the trip. 5
