Pick up time was between 4:30 and 5:00. We were picked up at 5:50 (without getting any notification). The van from Huay Xai to Luang Namtha was too full, so there was not a seat for each person. We were sitting there squeezed and partly Not on a real chair but on a stool without a backrest. We were not allowed to take the two free seats in the front as these saved for two others who jumped on the van a bit later. I assume they paid less, but got the better seats (or least real seats).
