The ferry was great. The taxi service was terrible. Driver would just stop and get out the van and wander off. He dumped us in the middle of nowhere (everyone on the van). We drove for 2 hours longer than the booking stated. And I now haven't heard back from 12GO to even acknowledge a problem.

The last van drive was horrible It was extremely warm in the van. Driver didnt speak English. He did all kinds of stops with Thai locals and stopped at a gas station.

We traveled from Koh Samui to Khao Sok using this service, and overall, it was a smooth and positive experience — just be prepared for a bit of organized chaos. The journey took around 6 hours in total and included a ferry, a bus, and a minivan. Check-in is at an office located a short walk from the pier, so be sure to factor that into your timing. One thing to note: you need to pay extra for luggage at check-in, and since they state online that there's no guarantee of space for large bags, we decided to play it safe and purchased two additional tickets in advance. That worked perfectly for us. The ferry was spacious and comfortable, with a small mini-mart onboard where you can grab snacks or drinks. The bus was a bit warm but still reasonably comfortable for the ride. The final leg in the minivan was standard, and for just 50 Baht per person, we were dropped off right at our hotel. The process can feel a bit hectic and unstructured, but that's part of the travel experience in this region. As long as you're alert, ask questions, and stay flexible, everything should go smoothly. We’ll definitely be using this service again for future travel.

I can believe when the reviews say all the rude people are concentrated here, while I encountered only one rude lady at the phantip minivan transfer office in surat thani on the stop from koh samui to khao sok. While this disclosure is there - Bus drivers may (and most likely will) collect people on the road, but usually it is not a problem since you already have a seat and bus stops take only 1-2 minutes- it did cause some inconvenience. The van didn't have proper air conditioning- possible since the driver kept opening the door to let people in. Also the minivan was quite cramped. The driver however was a sweet person and Khao Sok in itself made the travel worth it

10 min walk from ticket collection to pier to make sure you arrive with plenty of time. Have to change busses which was a bit annoying but overall it was a smooth journey and we arrived on time.

Chaotic but fine. We got dropped in Surat Thani and waited for our connection to Khao Sok with limited communication, other than “wait 20 minutes”. The minivan from Surat Thani to Khao Sok itself was fine, with a few extra errand stops by the driver, but this seems to be normal! Wasn’t a fairly smooth ride and affordable for the price.

The ferry to bus transition was absolutely carnage , no signs or notices or any destination on the buses just having to line up and ask every bus , also dropped off for an hour in between with no explanation or how long until the bus will come

Catamaran was late, so was put on a speed boat, only to have to wait for the catamaran Booked boat and van, which became boat > bus > van, meaning we arrived 90 mins late Driver at the end didn’t take us to the destination on the map, but stopped 1.6km away and charged 50 baht per person to go to the original destination
