Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai Destination Reviews

Big seat, snacks and water and keep timetable

Unfortunately there was no confirmation ahead of time besides general information and the driver showed up 45 minutes late without offering an explanation. It was difficult to reach Go12, as you had to log in to navigate the support and they didn’t offer any explanation, which led me to feel nervous about the quality and calibre of the transportation. Besides not offering any explanation for the 45 minutes delay (and I’m not sure if he was going to show up or if my calling Go12 prompted a new driver) the service was fine and driving was generally good and the gentleman was kind. It was a very expensive transfer and I probably would not book again with this company. There are local options for almost half the price who would be prompt and reliable.

Bus was comfortable and left on time. The journey took a little longer than predicted because of roadworks so we arrived about 25 minutes late

The bus barely made it to the hill…the ride was longer…

The intercity bus provided the transportation required, but the bus itself was in poor condition: the seats were torn, the levers controlling the seat backs were broken and the seats could not be adjusted (very uncomfortable, I was practically lying down) while the air conditioning was absolutely frigid and could not be controlled by the passengers. We got to our destination all right, only 15/20 minutes late, but the experience was anything but comfortable.

Took longer than expected as driver stopped at the side of the motorway multiple times before setting back off which was strange, apart from that an average bus journey
