Bangkok to Cha Am Destination Reviews

RP
I was afraid that in Ekkamai it will be difficult to find the correct boarding pass office and the correct bus stop, but no ! Process was smooth and easy because I got proper advices - already before I had even asked anything :-) Bus driver also took good care of that I will step out from the bus in the right bus stop. No toilet on the minibus. No place for big bags - fortunately I had two bags ( small one and medium -sized softbag), which were ok on my lap and between my legs. Plane cabine bag is the max size I think. If bigger, they suggest to buy an extra seat for the bag.

I booked for Chaam but the chaufeur never notified me when going through Chaam . A couple of Thai passengers were dropped at a stop of their choice along the journey . But there seemed no official stop in Chaam. Thinking we had already gone through Chaam on the main road to HuaHin I asked the driver to stop which he did in the middle of nowhere . It is a good thing I had a friend living locally to come and pick me up .

The staff are very nice, but the station is very hectic. Bus delayed. When checked in, not given the correct information about the luggage space, and not clear when booking either.

Left about 10 min late, but toilet stops were efficient and I got to my destination only 10 min late! Very small seats though, be aware.

Not enough information about stops. Expected to call at Cha Am bus station but didn't. Driver spoke no English but thankfully a passenger do and helped me. I got nothing for the additional 100 baht premium service and shouldn't have chosen that.

You pay 100 Baht more as when you buy the ticket at the bus station and therefor you have to come earlier. The vehicle is way to tiny for so many people. It is totally cramped in there. The AC is really weak and you are sweating as hell. After 3 hour will your butt hurt because of the extremely uncomfortable seats.
