Cebu Pacific to Schedule More Flights on Popular Routes

Cebu Pacific, a Philippine's budget carrier based in Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport, has announced the increase of weekly frequency of its flights on the key routes by an average of 63%.

The destinations that will now be served more frequently include Cagayan de Oro (to/from CDO's main airport, LaguindinganNorthern Mindanao), Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Siargao (Surigao del Norte), Iloilo (Western Visayas), Caticlan (Boracay, Aklan), Ozamiz (Misamis Occidental) and Zamboanga (Zamboanga del Sur). There is also an increase in the number of flights between Manila and Cebu by a quarter. 

The airline also eyes the launch of daily domestic flights between Clark and Iloilo; and Clark and Bacolod; as well as ClarkPuerto Princesa flights with the maiden flight scheduled for October, 9, 2019.

As far as the international routes are concerned, on April, 15, Cebu launched new Cebu-Shanghai and Shanghai-Cebu routes (China) ,and effective from April, 28, there will be an additional daily flight between Manila and Bangkok (Thailand) that will increase capacity on this route by 41%. A new Clark–Narita route will be out in operation this summer, starting August, 9, 2019. 

Cebu Pacific is the Philippines' largest airline by number of passengers. In 2018, the airline handled over 20 million passengers. They flew to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations, across 107 routes spanning Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and USA.
