The boat ride was the worst I've experienced in Asia for far. It left half an hour late and I was aware it involved a transfer to penida before Lembongan. However nowhere it mentioned that there was a stopover at gili Air and then Lombok where we sat for another half an hour without any air-conditioning in an overcrowded boat. 12go said it was a 2 hour 45 minute journey however it took 4 and a half hours. Id highly recommend anyone looking at this to try and find a company that goes more direct.

There was a delay of 1.5h besides that everything was good. The transit in Nusa Penida was fun for us.

Be aware that this is not a direct boat to Lembongan, you’ll get off at Nusa Penida and get a short ride in the back of a pick up and a speed boat across to Lembongan. Organisation of this was decent though. Wear flip flops because you’ll need to wade to the boat. Did it get us from A to B on time for a good price? Yes. Was it comfortable? No. All the 1 star reviews are people who clearly expected some luxury travel package for £11 per person in SE Asia.
