Sara MDirty toilets and cabin. Very loud and bumpy ride which made it difficult to sleep. No information in the Train station, so it was hard to figure out what Train and platform we should look for.

Dorothee Mthe trip we had did not meet our expectations for the price we paid (370 dollars for 4 seats between ninh binh and dong hoi ). The beds are hard as Wood. The toilets are dated and not clean and would need to be refurbished. We are disappointed of the service provided for the price we paid. Also, the voucher Said we had to go to the train station 60 min ahead of time to exchange the voucher for tickets Which was not necessary as the voucher made for tickets and finally, post importantly, our seats were attributed to another family why got it the train before we did! Fortunately another one was free on the same coach. At last , I chose the train because it was scheduled to arrive in dong hoi at 6:00 am and a couple of days before I got a message saying it would arrive at 5:00 am Which I would not have choses with the kids. Not a good expérience .

Cindy ODon’t know when to board the train. No English announcements in Ninh Binh. No
Status of trains arriving or departing in Ninh Binh. Only info on board was obsolete. Train was bumpy and people next to us was loud and watching tv at 3am yelling with tv volume very loud. Told them to be quiet and they moved to the next carriage. But that did not help. Luckily I had ear plugs. It was the worst experience ever.

Ritika NI mean it was clean with an attender in every coach. Nicely managed. Train was just 15mins late. But AC was blasting so personally it was too cold for me. But washrooms were usable and clean so happy.

Kristianna BMost enjoyable sleeper train ride including US and Europe. Slept well overnight and enjoyed the beautiful scenics from Dong Hoi to DaNang. Also enjoyed free refreshments and pay for use food offerings. There was plenty of filtered water both hot and cool. Toilet facilities were acceptable, and sinks were in good condition with plenty hand soap and sufficient dryers. Highly recommend!

Modestas JAs a foreigner I know that you have different culture and different morale standards, but seeing a puppy dog (cramped up in a small box where he cant even stand or move), have no water and no food sent over for a trip from Ninh Binh to Saigon (over 30 hours) was heartbreaking. Especially when train crew member started kicking the box to keep the dog from whining. Good people of Vietnam, we know you are better than this.
