We arrived at Hat Yai airport at 8:30AM. We went to the checkpoint by 8:45AM and waited in the area. Several times we walked around trying to find information on our pickup and nothing more could be found. By 9:25 (our van was supposed to leave at 9:30AM) we called the number on the PDF and someone answered. Eventually he called back and said a driver would be there shortly, after which a taxi driver came over to find us. We almost missed our ferry and the ferry operator was calling us repeatedly asking where we were. Thankfully on arrival she met us at the taxi and hurred us directly to the boat, which we thankfully were able to get on just in time.

We received no information about the trip, no one was waiting for us where we were supposed to meet. eventually tourist assistance helped and located the van driver. then I followed the instructions, checked in at the right gate and showed our tickets. we got on the boat and after 6 minutes was bombarded with calls and emails about how the boat was waiting for us. If they want us to use a specific boat or van, they should really be more specific and give detailed instructions.

Ticket service from 12go asia was excellent so no problem with them. We arrived 1.5 hours before departure (two hours was advised) the check in didn't even open until 45 mins from departure so everyone was waiting around, the ferry itself let's say had seen better days, couldn't see out the windows, watertight doors didn't close properly and it rolled worryingly from side to side, no refreshments and a basic toilet. I would not go on this ferry again, I would opt for a speed boat on another route.

The trip to the pier went smoothly and the driver was friendly.
The boat to koh lipe took longer time than expected because of two stops on the way to look at the view. But other than that it went good. So would definitely recommend people to do this trip

Used 12go.asia and Smart en Plus for a return trip to Koh Lipe from Had Yai airport. I must say they do work like clockwork. First trip we arrived almost an hour ahead of time to the Island, return trip we arrived 5 mins earlier which would have allowed us to board the 14:15 flight to Bangkok even if we had to check in a bag. Bus drivers and buses were fine. Return bus was actually a bit better. Buses take about 1:45 to 2hrs to the pier depending if there is a short break halfway. On arrival you pay 220 fees for national park and pier as stated i terms and conditions. The boat ride is definitely not for the faint hearted, xanax did the trick fo us. We had 2-3 people standing which can be avoided if they are a little bit less greedy. Same happend on the return trip, thats why I am giving a 4 star rating. I wish they either had bigger boats or drive a bit slower in choppy seas, I honestly would not mind if the trip took 2 hrs instead of 1:15 out journey or 1:30 for the return (sea was a bit rougher and the captain did take it easy at first to his defence). One thing to note, when you arrive its high tide around noon so you step right onto the beach on a floating pier. If you depart early morning 9-9:30 there is low tide where you are loaded onto longtail boats to a barge that acts like a terminal for all companies so do arriver early, say 45 mins, to get a btter chance in the boarding order (you are handed a number at check in on the beach and at the pier in the mainland as well). Boats fit about 45 people plus luggage. Health a safety had major room for impovement, such as ask all the passengers to wear the lifejackets on the their seats or at least explain how to do it! Takes 2 minutes! Hope this helps!

Got forced to pay for and stop at 2 islands on route to Koh Lipe (we didn’t ask for this nor did we get told prior to arriving at the pier) it was 200baht that I’d have rather spent elsewhere.
Told we’d arrive at the island 1:30pm, due to all the unwanted pit stops arrived at 3pm

En un principio se notaba todo muy organizado pero luego a la hora de ir en el speed boat desde el puerto de pakabara hasta koh Lipe nos encontramos con 2 paradas no esperadas. Una en el parque nacional de turatao y otra más q por más q eran muy lindas eso nos demoró llegando 1 hora después de lo esperado cuando uno lo único q quiere es llegar al paraíso de lipe

Everything good, only more than 30minutes waiting for MiniVan to come and bring us to the airport. Minivan Waiting point have few sitting places for all of us, and as it was raining we cannot protect ourselves and the baggages. But all on time and correct.

we are extremely full of appreciation to the staff. My wife is pregnant and on the way to Ko Lipe we had bad weather which made her feel bad. The staff was very responsive on WhatsApp and helped us choose the best time to return. All messages were full of empathy and decisions were made in a professional way.

We waited in our hotel lobby 30 minutes before the official pick up time as instructed. The van didn't show up on time and we ended up waiting for 40 more minutes until they finally showed up. The phone number printed on the voucher went straight to voicemail but we finally got hold of them using the phone number posted on their Facebook page (+66959144244). They apologized and explained the van is late because there are more people being picked up from other locations, but 5 minutes later the van showed up - empty. Other than that the office staff at the pier were very friendly and offered us drinks and snacks while we waited until it was time to go to the pier (a 2-3 minute walk). My wife was using a wheelchair and they made sure she was the first to go on the boat even though we didn't say anything, which was nice. There were two 10-minute stops along the way to Koh Lipe which we didn't know about beforehand. To me this was bothersome because all I wanted was to get to my air-conditioned hotel room but my wife enjoyed the opportunity for sightseeing.

At Koh Lipe there is an additional fee of 50 Bt for a transfer with the longtail boat to a platform from which we were picked up by the speedboat.
Besides an extremely bumpy ride with the speedboat the whole operation was nicely organized.
At Pak Bara Pier a Person approached us to check us off the list for the ride to the airport.
Especially happy with the van which had enough space for our suitcases.

First of all everything went well and I had a nice trip. On the way to Koh Lipe we made a stop on Egg Island which is a nice stop for a short break if someone gets seasick. I arrived on time in both directions. So they are really accurate with their timetable.
What was bad?
- When I arrived at the airport it would be better, when the person who picks people up doesn't telephone all the time and turns down the label with my name on it. I had to ask her myself what name is written on her label.
- Another problem was the pick up point on the way back from Koh Lipe. I didn't know where to go. On my instructions the operator told me to go to "SIRI BAR". Well there was no bar called like that. So I was half an hour earlier at the beach and looking successless for the location. Then I just went to one of the platforms where the speedboats stop and asked where I need to check-in. I can imagine that this leads to a lot of missunderstandings and they should work on it.
In total I can say that I was satisfied with the transportation! Thanks.

The pick up with the minibus was great - 5 stars, on time, nice driver, drove safely, reached Pakbara in plenty of time, very clean vehicle. But the boat - they loaded the bags at 1315, and informed us we would be leaving at 1330, But then the boat disappeared completely, and a new boat came which they said was our boat. But it was different .. so everyone was worried that our luggage was not on this boat. It was, we disacovered eventually - obviously they transferred us to a smaller boat and consolidated us, because there were too few passengres for the original big boat. But we departed 35 minutes late. Then they insisted on stopping off on the "REST" island for 20 minutes. Everyone just wanted to get to Koh Lipe - we were already late, why stop for 20 minutes. We arrived eventually 45 minutes late, hot and tired.

Le retour n’était pas bien Organisé: nous ne savions pas où trouver la dame qui devait nous donner les billets, et la communication avec elle (la dame de Sidi Bara)a été compliquée. Elle a été peu coopérative.
Au final, alors que personne ne nous avait prévenus, nous avons dû payer un longtail 100bath piur 2, et atteindre une plateforme à 2 min de la plage , où se trouvait cette dame avec nos tickets.
Bateau Koh lipe/Pakbarra manquant de place et très « tape-cul »..nos dos s’en souviennent! Celui de l’aller était beaucoup mieux (Bundhaya)
Van de Pakbarra à aéroport Hat Yai très confortable en revanche .

They were a little late to pick us up with the van, but someone contacted us the night before to let us know they will be delayed.
The speed boat was also delayed, and we had to wait for almost an hour since the van arrived to the port.
The organization was good!
And the van very comfortable!

I could not find anyone from the company and walked all around the Hat Yai airport asking questions- I had the voucher in hand but it’s details were limiting. The hotline was inoperable/busy. It was bad. I took a taxi to Pakbara pier so deserve a refund GR what I paid for van service. At the pier, I found the boat counter ok and navigated that ok.
