Disappointed to know that the bus trip only ended at Larkin Bus Terminal instead of Singapore Golden Mile Complex on the very last minute before boarding. Would appreciate if the Management could inform its customers earlier if ever the trip back to Singapore were not feasible. Let your customer know earlier to plan for alternative transport for it is rather difficult to get around coming back from Johore to Singapore, for people travelling with the elderlies and young children especially.

Onvriendelijk personeel bij de balie. Er werd niet duidelijk gecommuniceerd waar je naartoe moest. Vervolgens werd ik er op Sibang uitgezet (en kreeg een stuk papier in mijn handen geduwd) en heb daar bijna 45 minuten moeten wachten op een andere bus, die vervolgens naar de ferry reed en daarna pas naar Malakka. Rit heeft uiteindelijk 11 uur geduurd. Opstappen bij de ferry had me al 2 uur kunnen besparen.

If you can avoid this company I would. The seats are nice but the journey took over 12 hours, was an hour and a half late and they made us get in a taxi to another stop 20 minutes away as the bus just did not come to the Georgetown stop. Check trip advisor and google reviews if you don’t believe how terrible this company is.

It was a very local way of traveling. Definitely a memorable experience. Although fair warning- just to be mentally prepared, timing ranges and mine, for example, took 14 hours, not 10. Two hours at border/customs alone. (Although we found out there was a holiday- so that may be why) despite how long everything took, it was organized. Two vans and one ferry ride. Tight space- be aware- I got lucky and sat at door seat. Everything taken care of for me. Picked up others here and there. If taking 5am bus from komtar- no need to come 30minute early. Come 10minute early. Will be enough.

Almost missed my flight in KLIA. Please adjust the online time schedule, as this duration seems to be the norm.

VIP seats were comfy and cozy, clean bus, air conditioning works. The downside of the trip was the traffic ! our journey from penang to kl should be 5 hrs instead it was 11 hours long ! and the bus conductor refuse to stop at the R&R (rest area) when we request to and his reason was "look at the traffic how to stop?" few of the passengers including us need to use the washroom and we literally have to remind the driver to stop by the R&R and he did just twice. by the way expect bus transfer somewhere in sungai buloh ! which adds another hour to the whole journey to reach tbs station ! first time travelling by bus from penang during raya season and never again !

We arrived Koh lipe in 10hours not in 7. The thing is ,there was no trafficjam and the driver was really fast. No Body make it faster! Please change the estimatet time at the web.

The price is good but it is in a very full very cramped mini van. Border crossing adds around an hour delay so if you take the afternoon option you will be dropped at the bus station in Georgetown late. We arrived an hour late so 9pm. Also driver dropped other local passengers off first in various points in Penang which added to delay.

The bus schedule has changed. I had gone to the bus office so I had changed my flight early or I must wait many hours. 9:00 to 11:30 then I will lose my plane. I did not get the seat I reserved because it took other passengers that go nearby on the bus. But still had empty seat.

Van had to be changed at Hat Yai. Too many stops and drop offs and pickups. Rude drivers. Aircon was weak, stuffy seating. The van driver did not drop me to the bus terminal as mentioned on the ticket, saying it was not allowed to, but outside on the main road.

The lady at the counter was really unfriendly. Checking in took too long and seemed so complicated. She had to check our online booking 20 times or so. The hours were not correct, it took way much more than the website says. Almost 3 hours more. They don’t say they change busses and you have to wait an hour and a half. Take this in your planning if you want to book a trip here. The bus also smelled bad :-).

Good trip, old van but driver was good and drove me to my hotel in Georgetown which was new and quite hard to find. Older driver in his 50s with a moustash and red rimmed glasses. He was very good and drove well, all in all a good trip and cheap.

It was chaotic and disorganized! We were not given any instructions before, while and we crossed the border. And we did not appreciate that we were shuffled from one van to another. The drivers (after crossing the border) were rude! I/we will NOT recommend your company!

Bus departure was almost 1.5hrs delayed. We were dropped at the transfer terminal without info except "wait here". Bus plate number of the ticket didn't match the actual bus. Besides that it was ok. Restroom break was at a spot without shops for snacks and drinks. No wifi on the bus.

I missed my bus and they let me take the next one, with only a small extra fee, which was nice. However, when I changed vehicles to the connecting bus in Hat Yai, we had to wait about 3 hours. They did not inform anyone about this very long waiting time, and they should have done so, as it hugely affects someone's travel plans. I let it go because I was grateful that they let me take the next bus after I missed mine, however the other people were also very upset. First they wanted to make us wait 4 hours, then when we complained they changed it to 3.
We changed vehicles twice. On the last bus, when we arrived in Phuket (my final destination), I very politely asked the staff-member if I could get out sooner than the last bus terminal, as it was a more convenient location for me. He completely refused to let me get off the vehicle, even though we stopped many times and other passengers got off, he actually would not allow me to get off the bus! That is crazy.

The first bus was amazing and organised. Set a good time for the trip. The second bus was cramped, chaotic due to lots of miscommunication with baggage and language barrier and we were very late to drop off point due to driver dropping passengers to lots of different small stops

You get what you pay for, if you can avoid and choose the proper bus you should definitely do this !!! Feels a little unorganised, wasn’t on time but still got us from A-B and B-C. Trip will probably take longer for the drivers breaks but they do still have to have a break so fair enough. Overall, 48/100, can risk it and have the experience to tell the story of it or be comfortable and get on a proper bus :)

Went from penang to KL. Was worried from all the bad reviews but for me was fine. Left on time, arrived a bit late but was to be expected. Very comfortable first class style soft seats, well air conditioned and seemed like a new modern bus. Changed to a different bus halfway which was similar. No problems whatsoever

Poor communication led to confusion!
We did not know that we had to take a local express bus to the bus depot pretty far away from New Asian Travel. We were put in the bus in a hurry!
We wish we were given step by step instructions beforehand.
The bus was nice and had few passengers that day. However the bus driver was talking loudly to his friend the whole journey
This discourages us from taking the bus again!

Over all good bus ride. Very confusing at check in even with pre-paid ticket. Told by driver not correct bus but, shop own said yes. Worked out. Had to transfer buses half way through trip was not told. Arrived safely & air conditioning was great!

Late for more than 2 hours because driver picked up passengers not from the route - from different towns and locations. Was dangerous because of overspeed. 120 km/h where 60 max is allowed.

Everything went smoothly. We went to the agency the day before and sked to be picked up from the hostel. Paid extra 10 batt to the driver for crossing the border which was written in the rules of the Thai border. Crossing the border was fast and easy, no additional charges over there. Arrived in George Town on time and the driver dropped us close to our hotel and showed the directions.
