This was an overnight bus where we were due to arrive in Ninh Binh at 6am. We woke up at 5am in Hanoi - 2 hours north of where we were meant to arrive. The bus operator apologised for forgetting to stop at Ninh Binh so we had to get a series of buses (4 extra in total) to take us back to Ninh Binh. In fairness, the company helped us get to where we needed to go but it was very inconvenient navigating Hanoi early in the morning and ultimately arriving 3 hours later than expected in Ninh Binh.

Bus was 3 hours late on an originally 7 hour estimated duration. Multiple random stops. One rest stop part way through.

Bus was very late, should arrive at 1:15 at night, but did arrive at 2:45. It was very hard to reach anyone by phone, and the pick-up location was not a good place to wait. We did not get any message of the delayed verhicle, and we were just wondering if it had forgotten us. Very stressfull in the middle of the night. The good thing ; the bus did drop us off at the hotel, wat was very nice.

I received ticket confirmation only 30 minutes before departure time, and until that moment it was unclear if I had the ticket or not. I contacted the 12GoAsia support, but they gave a vague answer neither confirming nor denying my trip.

The bus arrived almost one hour late and given we are told to arrive 45 mins early meant we waited for two hours in the rain with no communication from the bus company.

The confirmation came to late, the ticket I finally received couldn’t be found in the system so that I couldn’t take the planned bus. I needed to pay additionally for a upgrade to travel to the intended place. I complained but still haven’t got a reaction.

Die Personen vor Ort waren wenig hilfsbereit. Erst als mir ein junger Vietnamese , der englisch kann, geholfen hat. Der ursprüngliche Bus war voll, so wurde ich einem anderen Bus zugewiesen. Das hat mir nur der junge Mann erklärt. Wäre ich alleine gewesen, hätte mir niemand der Organisation geholfen.
