Xe buýt giường nằm thường được trang bị với giường ngả được phía sau, nhà vệ sinh trên xe và đôi khi cả thức ăn nhẹ hoặc cả bữa trưa. Đi xe khách đêm cũng là một lựa chọn hợp lý nếu bạn muốn tiết kiệm một đêm phòng khách sạn. Ưu điểm của đi xe khách:

- Di chuyển bằng xe khách rất dễ dàng - không cần phải đến bến xe trước giờ khởi hành quá lâu, và thủ tục để lên xe thường rất nhanh chóng, trái với di chuyển bằng máy bay.
- Vé xe khách thường rẻ. Giá xe có thể hơi cao đối với hạng VIP, nhưng nếu bạn muốn mua vé giá rẻ, xe khách vẫn là lựa chọn hàng đầu.
- Ngoài ra, có rất nhiều hạng xe để phù hợp với nhu cầu và chi phí. Nếu bạn muốn một hành trình thực sự thoải mái, di chuyển bằng xe khách cũng hoàn toàn có thể đáp ứng được điều đó.
Nhược điểm của đi xe khách:
- Bến xe của các chuyến xe liên tỉnh có thể nằm xa trung tâm. Có nghĩa là bạn cần tính thêm thời gian và chi phí để di chuyển đến địa điểm văn phòng xe. Trong một vài trường hợp, di chuyển đến bến xe có thể đắt hơn bạn nghĩ, bởi vì đôi khi chỉ có một vài nhà xe được phép khai thác tuyến đó - và giá vé có thể bị đẩy lên cao.
- Vào cuối tuần hoặc mùa cao điểm, vé xe khách đi đến các điểm thu hút khách du lịch có thể hết vé toàn bộ lịch trình xe, và bạn sẽ cần phải đặt vé trước từ sớm.
- Đi xe khách không bị phụ thuộc vào thời tiết như đi phà/ tàu cao tốc, nhưng xe có thể khởi hành muộn hoặc thậm chí bị huỷ vì yếu tố thời tiết hoặc điều kiện đường xá - hãy lưu ý điều này nếu bạn di chuyển vào một mùa hay tới một địa điểm nhất định.

Everything went perfect. Comfortable ride, food and water and snacks provided. Staff speaks decently to good English. Lots of help getting through the border (even if you didn't purchase the 7USD VIP Package for the Visa). I was amazed and can only recommend.

The first ride to the boarder was amazing. I had my own bus and a lot of comfort. Then i crossed the boarder and on the other side i could not find my bus. I asked around for about 1h, then they told me to wait for 2h to bring me to the bus park. It was getting dark and my feelings were not okay with that. I took than a taxi to siem reap.

The entire travel was smooth including the processess at the immigration of both borders. A travel mart employee guided and helped us pass through both Thai and Cambodian Immigrations.
The only downside for my opinion is the waiting area at Khao San (Mc Donalds), 1hour waiting time at a very busy street is not so convenient.

Journey was fine about 6 hours though had 20 minutes for a break. The annoying thing was being at the pick up an hour before leaving as stated so 7am to leave at 8am.
So missing breakfast at hotel for 7.00. only to be picked up at 8am.
Journey and dropped off no problems at hotel.

As it was written in thr comments, we waited for the man from the Travel Mart for one hour. McDonald's was closed, so sat on the road for an hour. After that driver took us to the bus. And after 26 more we started. When we get into the bus, the first seats were already occupied with local people, not tourists. They spoke loud, this was annoying. But all other things were ok. Often stops for toilets, comfortable seats, A/C, we arrived at time.

We travelled to Battambang. It was a very nice and comfortable bus. But they asked to be at the pickup place at least 60min before departure. So we did, and there was no one from the company for 40 min. Pick up place is just a point on the street. There os no toilet if you need it. So we came at 7:30 and bus started at 9:10.
On the border they do everything in a hurry, but explain everything very clear, but if you crossed the border many times it can be uncomfortable to do it as a group. But it saves time for all.
Especially for Battambang, there is no information about the fact that the bus going to Siem Reap, and they drop you off at Sisophon (half way from the border to SR). Then we were picked up by the private car with one more passenger. The car was loaded with a load of instant noodles, so they mounted our luggage on the top with a scotch tape. You should be ready for this when you travel in Asia :)
So, anyway trip was comfortable, bus was perfect, staff was nice and helpful and we arrived almost on time, though I even didn’t expect it. I recommend

From to Bangkok to Siem Reap the trip was made in a by, comfortable bus with wireless. Then I switched to a mini van with locals to Phnom Penh. I love locals, very friendly, but the van was not really comfortable for a 6h ride... Even tough I like to travel by bus so globaly I would say I enjoyed and I would do it again.

It was a nice trip. The seats were spacious and comfortable, the staffs were cool, the drives drived very good, they give you water and a snack and to cross the border they help you with anything... dont have to worry.
I would definetely recomend.

Trip went fine. Picked up at Khaosan which sucks but it's Khaosan so you know what you're getting into with that. Stopped at the border, had to pay $10 extra cuz I had no visa pictures so total for getting into Cambodia was $40. Pretty tame as far as borders are concerned. Guide was very helpful, and friendly. Poi Pet (border crossing town) was a bit of a mess, but that's what you get with rural border crossings.
Trip ended in Siem Reap, took a VIP minibus to Phnom Penh (a bit sketch with the driving, but driving here is nuts anyway.)
Only complaint was that I couldn't charge my phone at all but that's whatever.

Bus personnel was on-time and was able to explain everything prior to start of trip. They provided snack, water and blanket (which smells liked already used by previous passengers). Bus personnel however left with the other passengers going to the Poipet border while we wait for the remaining passengers who didn’t know where to go next

It’s a comfy bus with 2 & 1 seats row with Toilet, but some seats are too close (less gap for footrest) and some footrests were not working properly (need repair). Good staffs that taking care everything, including when crossing the border with the same bus (luggages stay in the bus). We missed our free TukTuk from hotel as the bus was >1 hour late, but the bus also provided free TukTuk to our hotel, which Chan To (TukTuk driver) is nice and offered us US$25 day trip ride to Angkor temple complex on the next day.

Perfect service. Air con system failed during the trip but they have decided to send another bus and to compensate by a full visa service at the border. We just had to wait inside the bus without any other queue to make. Guys were very nice and fun. Transfer to Battambang finished with a taxi who has dropped us directly at our hotel.

We expected to be in Koh mak at 10 in the Morning..but we arrive before 12...infact we don't get the Ferries at 8 in the Morning but at 10:30..It is not cleared at the Moment of the booking..

Took the bus from Bangkok to Siem Reap. Was met by a man in a Travel Mart t-shirt outside McDonalds on time. Bus to border was good, nice legroom and one stop for lunch. At the border we were told that we had to change bus in Cambodia, while the original plan was to stay on the same bus. I thought this would be a hassle but the staff took care of our luggage and the bus we got on was a sleeper bus with double beds so I was very satisfied overall. I did the border crossing easliy by myself even though the staff was willing to take care of it for a fee of like $7. It was very easy and fast. Not sure if I was lucky or if it was a result of low season for travel across the border.

Nice bus and good communication. Easy stress free travel. Good internet, A.C. and comfy.
Easy to do the visa without help if you want to go that route. Take American dollars for the Cambodian border over Thai as it saves you some money on the exchange rate. You can grab some in the casino after leaving Thailand and before you pay in Cambodia if you need.

Went from Bangkok to Siem Reap. The bus had 3 seats in a row, so was a large, spacious seat. The chair reclined and had a foot rest too. The staff spoke great English and were helpful. Also got free water and WiFi on board (only worked in Thailand).

Had to wait until 1.20 to be greeted which caused a little stress, but once we were on the bus it was an easy ride. They explained the visa process easily. We had evisa which meant we could do the visa process ourselves. Once you get to the boarder you get off the bus, through the Thai boarder with your departure card, then proceed to the Cambodian boarder to fill out arrival card and hand over your visa. All really easy and straight forward. The visa guys were fab.
HOWEVER don't accept the free Tuk Tuk. Unfortunately we didn't know where our hotel was so took up the offer to then be negotiated with for about 15 minutes before he set off. They want to book other tours with you which is understandable as its their livlihood, however not after an over night bus.
All in all a great trip

Good journey from Bangkok to Siem Reap. WiFi was good and the team on the coach were really helpful. Only downside was that my chair was broken and I had to sit fully reclined on the whole journey.

Overall good experience. Seats were not of best comfort and the seat in front of me was broken which meant that when that person laid down, my legs were cramped. Got too cold at one point and the blankets were not warm enough.
Kind and helpful staff.
One can easily do the visa + entry to Cambodia by oneself, instead of paying extra for having it done by the staff. A nice experience that is missed if not done by oneself.

Compramos pasajes que en teoría iban directo desde Bangkok a Phnom phen, pero al subir al bus nos dijeron que primero paraba en siemp reap y que una vez allí debíamos tomar otro bus. Esto nunca fue comunicado desde la página.
Al llegar a siem reap tuvimos una espera de 2 horas. Y desde allí el viaje cambio a una mini van, cuando habíamos pagado viaje completo en bus.
Llegamos 3 horas más tarde de lo pensado, perdiendo toda una tarde planificada en Phnom phen. Una vergüenza!!!

All went super smooth despite bad remarks online.
1. Pick up point; there are 2 McDonald’s. It’s the one next to the police station. Be there on time, the guide was on time and we left soon after (approx 35min before actual bus leaving). Then we had a short walk to the bus. The bus was super comfy, we got blankets, and the WiFi worked great (on the Thai side). One quick break - don’t know because I slept through. At the boarder the guide clearly stated where to go. I can highly recommend to get an Evisa upfront online. Makes it more comfortable for yourself because you don’t have to give you passport to other people you just follow the right way and get stamped on visa and passport. After, we jump on the bus again (again slept all the way) and arrives smoothly in Siem Reap. Can recommend to all. We didn’t fell for any scams. Inform yourself, I heard some people on the bus actually ended up paying some extra fee to the employees at Cambodian border, but that wasn’t required (they just didn’t know better)
No such scams happened to us with eVisa

Everything was fine, pleasant journey. No problems or issues occurred during the border. Nice drivers and guide, very kind and helpful during the journey. Water, wifi provided and a blanket to sleep. Nice ;)

Travel was convenient, staff onsite helpful and we left on time. However, I’ve booked this option as I saw a big bus on the page and wanted to avoid mini vans. In the end, we were going in a mini van, probably because there weren’t that many people. We were super quick and arrived 2,5 hours earlier at the pier. Would go for the option again!

Bus confortable qui a roulé de manière prudente tout le long du trajet. Par contre wifi qui n’a marché qu’en Thaïlande et pas au Cambodge. Aussi , attention à l’arnaque du monsieur du bus qui vous demande 40$ pour « accélèrer » les démarches du visa à l’arrivée en prétextant que ça prend trop de temps sinon... Nous avons payés 33$ et avons mis autant de temps si ce n’es un peu moins de temps que les autres :)

Travel smart is good, happy with the service. However it is NOT in Khao San, it is behind the temple, after googling the directions I managed to find it after half an hour of walking up & down Khao San road & asking many people. So advise to change the address of this place to avoid others being confused
