It was late but super comfy! They stopped at a rest stop half way too, which helped us get a nice meal. The bus station itself isn't great so make sure you stock up before you get on the bus.
The lady at the counter was incredibly grumpy too and quite unhelpful.
The bus was quite late but we still arrived earlier than predicted.
As with every bus driver in south east Asia, they're driving it like they stole it so you'll never have to worry about being late.
The beds themselves were good too, if a little firm! The cabin has good lighting but the LCD screen basically just mirrors the screen of the driver. So, if he's not playing tunes, that LCD doesn't make sense.
The chargers are USB-A so be aware that a USB-C cable won't help.
The view on this route was insanely nice too!
Still worth the money.

Was supposed to leave at 10:45 we got a text to say don’t come until 11 because it’s delayed then when we got there at 11 they said it was delayed again by an hour and a half

bus was clean and tidy, ride was fine but delayed for almost an hour. also we came to sapa instead at 00:35 at 2:10h... positive thing- operator asweared immediately when we asked where the bus is

The ride was very comfortable, but the adress on the ticket for the departure wasn’t correct. A lady from a shop told us to go to the right address luckily, else we wouldn’t have found it. It turned out to be a completely different bus company than we booked and they also didn’t know/understand, so maybe it was a mistake on 12go?

The trip was good. It got to the arrival on time, reasonably clean. The tricky part was the beginning, nobody spoke english and the bus station looks like a very scary place at night

Trip was really smooth. Company was prepared and gave clear instructions.
Negative was that we left with over one hour delay and that we booked this bus because it says that it will drop you at tam coc. In reality it drops you on tam coc fork where some taxi driver already wait for you and you have no other choice than pay them triple the amount a grab would charge you. Grab is not working here in tam coc.

Quite a couple of switches from taxi to minibus to taxi. Only wrong name of hostel ended up the paper of last driver, but after a phone call hè was able to find out where he needed to drop me off

Der Fahrer hat uns 10 min vor Abfahrt am Treffpunkt abgeholt, zwar in einem Auto, mit nur ihm und wir und hat uns nach Da Nang gefahren wo dann der Bus stand. Bisschen irritiert, aber sonst war die Reise genau wie beschrieben.

Booked the van from HCM to Can Tho. Comfortable seats, left and arrived on time (even with a couple mystery stops along the way), and they even dropped me off at my hotel! Much appreciated

My girlfriend went to the toilet at night and her socks were drenched in pee. We were supposed to go to Ho Chi Minh center but somewhere in the outskirts we were woken up by people screaming at us that we had to go out. They were so pushy that we ended up forgetting stuff in the bus because of all the stress. After we were put in a minivan that went to pick up and drop off all kind of things in the city before they finally dropped us off in the center.

Driver constantly on the phone, playing loud music, there was a constant beeping noise the entire 6 hour journey. Random stops for picking up parcels and for the driver to smoke his bong. At one point I think we stopped at his home to drop off a present for his daughter. Bus also very uncomfortable and old

Positive was the air condition and that the driver stopped in the city center instead of the official end point. This stop was more comfortable for everyone.
Negative: We took 3 Busses, it took us 5h instead of 2:40h. We stopped very often and took friends from the driver with us on the way: Women, children and an old man with a flew. Some passengers had to sit on each other or share a seat because there were less seats than passengers. The passenger door was broken, but one passenger was holding the door to keep it shut during the whole ride.

The bus was waiting on time at 9:15 pm at the Central Backpackers Hostel except that the company was Queen Cafe and we didn’t realize we should board until about 10:00 pm when we got a WhatsApp message from TechBus (because I asked) telling us to board. The driver did have our names on a printed list. Bus ride was smooth and quiet, seats comfortable. No curtain partitions or USB ports, but we were sleeping so didn’t mind. Bus had a bathroom, too, which was convenient even though not the cleanest. Arrived in Hanoi an hour late which is not bad. Drop off point was not exactly where our TechBus ticket said, but we were able to get a public bus to go to our lodging easily.

Wir wurden am Flughafen von einem kleinen Bus abgeholt (trotz einer kleinen Verspätung von uns,verursacht durch lange Schlangen am Flughafen), welcher uns in 5min zum Reisebus fuhr. Dieser war äußert komfortabel, sauber und neu. Wasser gab es an jedem Platz genug und man konnte im Bus auch kostenlos neues holen, sowie die saubere Toilette benutzen. Außerdem gab es WLAN, welches ausgezeichnet funktioniert hat. Ich kann die Reise mit dem Bus von SaoViet nur empfehlen, auch wenn man als 1.85m Europäer nicht gerade gut liegen kann.

Experience was very poor indeed:
1) we booked two tickets, but only one person was on the list; felt lucky we were both allowed to travel
2) we were pick-pocketed and relieved off our cash and card
3) beds too short for adult size (176cm)
4) other passengers were vomitting

We had to go to the middle of nowhere for a pickup and then stood in the city for over an hour right next to where our hotel was waiting for more people to come. It would be nice to jave an ability to pick a pickup point.

The first hour you sit in a very luxurious bus and then you have to transfer to a much less luxurious bus where you have little personal space and if you are tall (like me) you will not fit in the seat. Different bus than I booked. It takes you from A to B and does what it's supposed to do, but don't expect luxury.

Seats were ok, a bit too short. The rest was terrible. On the Ha Giang-Sapa trip we stopped only once for the toilet... in the middle of a road, in the bushes! Meanwhile the guy in charge of the trip stopped about 7 times to pick up and deliver some packages he was making some extra money off of. At least half of these stops had an obviously visible toilet, and yet he and the driver refused to let any passenger leave the bus. The company was aware of the situation via Whatsapp, but did not comment.

Domt eat at the bus stop between Can Tho and Saigon. I got horrendous food poisoning and so did my friend. An ice cream there is the only thing we bith ate. I saw a cockroach. The toilet at the bus stop was nice. They didnt have any wifi.

Overall it was a positive experience. We read so many bad reviews that we were ready for the worst. We took the bus from Ninh Binh/Tam Coc to Ha Giang. It wasn’t the VIP Cabin sleeper we paid for but it was a normal sleeper, we were disappointed but it was quite comfortable anyway. After 1hr they made us change bus, we stopped on the side of a highway and changed into a cabin vip. Pretty intense experience to pee on the sidewalk of a highway since there is no toilet on the bus. We arrived 2hr earlier, and apparently it always happen. Overal the driving was good and not too much honking. Always get the VIP option.

The bus started earlier but the driver couldn't speak english. I embarked and the driver kept driving then I realized he was going farther than the stop. I looked at him puzzled. Another guy was nice and tried to communicate with me by google translate. He told me that the driver would drive me to my hotel instead. The guy had to hop off and told me "Good luck!" 😅 The bus then went to what seemed to be the parking of the car company? I was slightly scared it was dark and I didn't understand why the driver was parking the car. Then I used Google translate to ask where I had to go and he kept telling me motorbike. More confused, I went out of the car and was ready to call a grab. But then the driver appeared next to me on a motorbike and looked at me with insistance...so he meant that he would drive me by motorbike? But I never went on a motorbike before and I am easily scared, this was not part of the plan? And he gave me a hat, not even a helmet. So that's how I sit on a motorbike for the first time, and had a 30 min ride.... I was so stressed at least I was safe and didn't pay for a grab back home.
Anyway, I can't rate this more than 2 stars. The driver couldn't speak english but then didn't try to understand where I was going. I thought he would know because the guy from the company told me to hop on this particular car? I showed I had a ticket, but he didn't look. Language barrier is a thing but this was a stressful experience....I would not recommend. Better take a private taxi, or maybe buy through something else than 12go asia. There was a lack of communication somewhere.

The bus was very comfortable. We arrived 2 hours early. Without hesitation the driver and companion woke us and threw us out of the bus.

I was, actually, a very nice and pleasant trip. We couldn't find the starting point so we asked customer help service on what's app where is the pickup point. We got the answer in 5 seconds. Very professional. The bus driver was a very nice guy and the bus was very comfortable. We recommend using this service any time!

Had to switch vans 3 times from Ninh Binh to Hanoi airport. Drivers were okay to crazy with no seatbelts in one van. Overall okay, but nothing to really recommend.

The bus was very spacious and very comfortable. The staff was super nice. All in all it could have been a super nice overnight ride!
But there were two things that were a bit annoying:
1) if you book a certain time, you won’t leave at that time. But they group people from different departure times together, so they don’t have half empty buses. That would be absolutely fine (especially as we arrived on time anyways) but it’s annoying to wait so long before getting on the bus.
2) the driver was driving super fast and honking all the time. This made it impossible to sleept. While the VIP Sleeper is so comfortable, you could easily sleep through the long drive, yet the noise from the honking and trying not to fall out of your bed due to the crazy driving, you literally won’t be able to sleep.

We had two problems with this bus, first they stopped 30 minutes before arriving in Saigon without saying anything, no one understood what was going on, the driver turned the engining off, we had no air-con for a few miutes, then one of the drivers start shouting at us from outside making gestures to us to leave the bus, then we saw they changing our bags/suitcases to another bus (a very bad and old bus, with no air con). In the end our backpack got completely wet with a dark liquid from the bus, which made our clothes in the backpack wet and dirty as well.

Sehr komfortabel, die Klimaanlage allerdings sehr sehr kalt. Beim Ein- und Ausstieg war alles sehr hektisch. Beim Zwischenstopp in Hanoi sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiter im Office.

Mini bus was new and comfortable, we couldn't choose our seats and we had to sit at the back, seatbelt wasn't working, journey was horrendous to Dalat, road conditions quite bad, quite scary as everyone overtakes with no visibility over bends, driver beeped horn constantly. But the worst part was that we had to wait at a random point for the bus with no signs and the driver was an hour late. We contacted the WhatsApp hotline number 2 hours before we were picked up and we received no response until the van showed up, we literally lost every hope that we would have been picked up. Really stressful

Great company, they contact you via whatsapp giving tou the info, the vam was confortable and the driver drove safely. They also drop me off in the hostel when we arrived to the destination.

Pick up was over an hour late and we were waiting thinking we’d be left. We eventually got taken by car to the bus. Then the bus arrived almost 2 hours early!!! Leaving us stuck and a bit stranded in the rain. There was someone smoking on the bus, making the whole bus smell.
