Jasmin KThe journey from Luxor to Cairo was chaotic throughout and did not even end at the destination I had booked.
During the trip, the driver smoked inside the bus several times and played very loud music the entire way – getting any rest on such a long journey was impossible.
In Cairo, the bus stopped at several locations that were not part of the booked itinerary. As a result, the delay added up to around three hours.
The main issue: the bus eventually stopped in the middle of Cairo and ended the journey there – roughly 20 km away from the booked destination in Nasr City. When I asked why the final stop was not being served, I was simply told that this was now the end of the route. No further explanation or alternative was offered.
I had to arrange and pay for onward transport myself, after a journey that was already heavily delayed.
Anyone booking this connection should expect that neither the stated arrival time nor the stated destination can be relied upon.

Chanele RThe stops at each stop were very, very long and the gearbox broke mid-journey so we had to stop to glue the plastic back on with a lighter?? Because of this we arrived 4 hours late, and since we are tourists the agency manager tried to scam us by saying that if we wanted to put our bags in the compartment right above our heads we had to pay, even though he didn't ask anyone else on the bus.

Louise WOld bus, not suitable for westerners. Toilet worked thankfully but of course was filthy. Air con worked. Driver on time. Inadequate inner storage so had to carry my bag on my lap. Seats reclined in front of my hit my knees.

Natalie The driver was wonderful and the experience was smooth. It was a long trip but we made great time and could stop regularly to use the toilet and buy food.

Kay ODespite paying online for ticket leaving Luxor. it was changed to a different operator, time and service. The jpeg ticket was not a problem at the Superjet office but beware of the bus are especially superjet as we boarded somebody insisted we pay 200EGP extra for the driver. They made me speak to a person on the phone who I assumed was our original booker.
