The Bus was comfortable and everyone had a lot of Space. There was Just a but of a Strange smell in die Bus and they Made so Many stops on the way… but we arrived earlier none the less. Absolutly Worth the Money!

Be booked a vip bus but only got a vip bus for the first 2 hours, the rest was a regular sleeper
Pros: The bus arrived on time
Cons: The bed is too narrow and the driver didn't drive gently so we couldn't sleep.

Rude bus driver, terrible toilet facilities. Randomly stopped about 5 times. Leg from hanoi to ninh binh driven at lunatic speeds.

Good: bus was confortable, but some seat couln't be adjust. Finaly, the operator transfer us in a taxi and he provide a shuttle service to our homestay :). He was suppose to only drop us at one spot in tam coc.
Bad: 12 go don't provide seat reservation. As we are travelling with 3 childs, we went to the operator office, but that wasn't possible. On the information of the operator, they ask us To be at the office at 6h am because the bus was leaving at 6h30. We got soak on the way, the office wasn't open when we arrive. Finaly, we had a transfer by taxi at 6h35 to the sapa bus station and on the way it passed front of our hotel. The bus leaved at 7h15, so we had To got up our family at 5h30 am for nothing. Bus had no wc finaly. Bus was stopping all the time. We arrive an hour later, but we had the shuttle service. That was realy Nice, so a give a third stars.

We booked a bus and the next day when we arrived at the location they said there was no place for us on the bus. I had a confirmation. We had to start another night at the place. We had to cancel our hotel in the next place.

The bus itself was OK, what you'd expect from a non VIP sleeper. That said the drop off point was not in Tam Coc as it says on 12Go. We were dropped off in central Ninh Binh so needed to get a taxi to Tam Coc. It seemed as though the bus staff had arranged for a random taxi to be there to try to take us to our accommodation but was trying to charge us more than double than a Grab.
Also the bus arrived nearly 2 hours earlier than it says on 12Go, we left at 9:30pm and arrived at 4:30am
The bus staff were also smoking those big Hanoi tobacco pipes at each stop, although it was never clear if we were stopping to let people on/off or if it was a toilet stop. Could all be so much better but there aren't many direct options between Sapa and Ninh Binh

Be prepared for usual delays and the curvey mountainroad in the beginning. The bus itself was clean - the toilet after some time not so much.
