Long but easy trip from Samui to Phi Phi
Make sure you don’t have luggage if more than 20inches as you pay extra as these have to be placed on the seats in the bus due to the luggage being too big for storage in the luggage compartment of the bus
Ferry trip is almost 2 hours but most enjoyable.
Terrible. The driver was rude, arrogant. His driving was atrocious. I tried to speak to him twice about where he was actually dropping us off as I realised others were getting dropped off @ didn’t locations. He pretended not to understand saying if we wanted dropping off @ the pier in Krabi we would have to pay 150thb. We spoke to lady @ customer services who sorted it out but the driver was not happy. After dropping everyone else off a couple asked if he would drop them at the airport which he did for an extra 300thb. We asked if he could drop us to ferry first as the ferry was departed port @ 13.30, he ignored us, then dropped the couple to the airport, we eventually got to Krabi ferry port @ 14.00 and missed our speedboat. It caused us nothing but problems. Also when the driver dropped us off , he didn’t even unload our luggage. Once I unloaded it, he slammed the door and sped off. Very very rude and not a good ambassador for 12Go
We got from A to B.
The second Van was full of people and luggage, so it wasnt a very comfortable 3 hour ride. We also arrived almost an hour later than the ticket said. But the rest was fine.
It is nice that the arrange a long trip like this but after the first switch of the van we got a speedy driver and a van with the back chairs which were moving when accelerating and breaking. Also the last ride with the van was rushy for some reason.
The mini van was full of people with very big luggages so all of us traveled in very unconfortable positions, with 0 space around us (bags in the middle of the corridor). The driver did some stops that we did not understand without telling nothing to the people inside the minivan. We also did 3 changes of vehicle to reach the second ferri and one of the changes toke us 1h waiting in a bus terminal of phantip.
We booked a trip leaving at 11:45 and arriving at 17:00. we were contacted that the time was shifted to 8:30. When we arrived we were told that we were at the wrong pier. A heads up would have been great there.
When we got to the Pier in Krabi at 15:00 we realised that there was no speedboat to take us to Koh Phi Phi and we were put on the regular ferry arriving at 17:00.
Ordinarily this would not have been a big deal but we paid extra for the faster travel time.
