Pas très accueillant... Déposé à une autre station de bus à la sortie de la ville pour prendre un autre bus pour Ayutthaya avec une autre compagnie. Donc forcément pas mal de retard à l’arrivée. On a regretté de pas avoir pris un taxi.

Après avoir lu plusieurs commentaires mitigés, j'ai quand même décidé de partir avec cette compagnie. L'accueil était froid comme attendu mais ce n'est ce qui m'intéressait. Le voyage était impeccable, départ à l'heure, arrivée à l'heure dans un mini-bus bien confortable.
Pour les voyages, je pense que la compagnie a deux manières de procéder :
1- si le mini-bus est complet alors il vous enmene lui même à destination.
2- s'il n'est pas complet, il vous dépose à la gare routière, vous prend un ticket vers votre destination et vous demande d'attendre.

Ho viaggiato sulla tratta Bangkok Chiang Mai, il pullman quel giorno aveva le prese elettriche guaste quindi i nostri telefoni e quelli di altri si sono spenti... il problema reale però è stato un altro: l’autobus aveva una temperatura fuori da ogni limite, l’aria condizionata era impostata bassissima e siamo tutti morti di freddo dato che l’autista non ha mai voluto abbassarla nonostante le svariate sollecitazioni.
La nota positiva sono i sedili molto comodi che quasi si stendono a formare un letto. Siamo morti di freddo fate qualcosa

The minivan was good and cool, but arrived 2 hours later on a trip to Ayutthaya from Bangkok that only should have taken 2 hours (should have arrived at 12.30, but arrived at 14.30). We had to wait for a long time on the bus station of Bangkok, this was not mentioned.

Surprising as we had to change VAN just as going out of of Bangkok and several short stops were done, we arrived about 20 minutes late. Nevertheless it was a good day to reach our destination easily.

The agency itself is a very small and untidy place. The lady is bad tempered and don't talk to customers. The first van was good but it only took 10 minutes and they make us go in another van. The van second van wasn't good. It smelled bad and was uncomfortable.

Der Bus fuhr pünktlich gegen 10.30 Uhr in Bangkok los und kam vor der geplanten Zeit in Kanchanaburi an. Der Minibus war zwar älteren Baujahres (Stoßdämpfer etwas ausgeschlagen) aber für diese Strecke ging es. Menschen mit Rückenproblemen sollten diesd Art der Anreise aber überdenken da die Straßen mitunter recht bumpy sind. Der Fahrer wsr sehr freundlich und brachte mich für eine geringes Aufgeld sogar zum Hotel. Ca. 60 Minuten vor der Ankunft legten wir an einer Tankstelle eine kleine Austritts-Pause ein.

Estaba al lado de nuestro hotel y nos vino bien para que nos llevasen a la estación de buses, pero sino el billete de bus son 119 baths. Salimos las 10.30 de khao san Tara y a las 11.15 estábamos en la estación. Hasta las 12.00h que salía el bus estas allí esperando (tienes tiendas de comida y dos 7 eleven).

First time ever rated on here, they had extra buses as it’s just before songkran so probably their peakest day of the year...cheap and ridiculously well organised, red trucks ready to take everyone to their hostels. Well done!

Poor communication, no clear stops for 9 hours. The bus was also late leaving and arriving which meant we almost missed check in time at our hostel. However lunch was included which was a good bonus.

We were waiting for van about 45 mins. But the van and driver were ok! На одном ване вас довозяь до вокзала, там доведут до второго вана. Ван хороший и водитель приличный. Выехали на минут 40 позже, но в целом все хорошо.

very old van. Van was 30' late. Back sits where awfull, avoid to sit on the last line. Too bouncy. We all got sick back there. Very hot as well as the air con wasn't strong enough and the driver didn't allow us to open yhe Windows (no explication given). Driver drove crazy also. But aftell all we got to our destination well. I guess this is what thailandia transportation is about

Very easy process. Everyone was so nice, our ride was originally at 10:30 am but the lady running it was concerned we would not get a chance to see everything so she moved us to the 8:30am ride, which was awesome. We were able to see everything on our bucket list in Ayutthaya.

I booked the bus but I turned out to be a van. For the person, who want to go with bus, just go the Transportation Service Office 2. There’s no online booking but the bus departs every hour.

You have to wait in the agency to be picked up by a van which will drop you off at a bus station and after waiting a bit finally you will take a bus to Kanchanaburi.In the tickect there was no comment about that because it was supposed to be a direct transportation from Kao San Tara travel to Kanchanaburi.As a result,maybe also because it was raining,I arrive at Kanchanaburi bus station with one hour delay.

Everything was great, just the toilet was a bit unpleasant to use. The smell coming from it spread to the front part of the bus and there was no paper and soap.

Check in a little chaotic, but not unbearable. No toilet on bus and seats were a little uncomfortable, I managed to sleep the whole way and ride was quite smooth. Arrived quicker than promised time which was a bonus. Overall no issues. Got us from A to B

We were 5 minutes too late, but they called the busdriver and he came back to pick us op! Excellent service! The bus was full and we were sitting beneath the luggage but we were very thankfull that we can travel!

The bus was late because of security controls but the people from Tara Travel were trying to make the best out of the situation, apologized and gave us food when we finally were in the big, modern and comfy bus (but I think there are several busses driving so no guarantee that you will get this one) the people from Tara travel handed out little snacks. Just take warm clothes because it was even colder than normal busses usually are. Btw suuuuper cute dog in the office of the travel agency

Pros: te olvidas de andar buscando de dónde salen las Van, vas allí y te llevan.
Contras: Nos cobraron 4 veces más a la ida que a la vuelta gestionándolo por nuestra cuenta. El local está desordenado y abarrotado de cosas. No son amables.

We waited in the Tara San travel where the staff were not very helpful.
They then walked us 5 mins to where we got a mini bus to the station. The woman was very very rude shoving people into the bus and it was in a very rushed manner. 4 people were made to share 3 seats at the back.
Once we’d got to the bus station there was the same rush to get out and to the coach, we basically had to run.
Up until the bus it was a 1 star poor service.
But the bus itself to Chiang Mai was better than expected and was comfortable.

The coach was a lot older and more cramped than the photos showed when booking.
The coach left on time and arrived slightly late due to traffic but they kept turning the lights on and waking people up...
They gave us a food voucher to use at 2am but they ending up stopping at 11pm there was only crisps available.
Okay service but I will go by plane next time!

A little bit difficult to find the office in Bangkok. For night bus you can give pillow, not just blanket. Bus come to chiang mai 2 hours before the time. I understand that It an impossible to predict the exact time of arrival, but 2 hours it really ti much time. My hotel was closed in this time

I did manage to go from bangkok to kanchanaburi, but the part that was done by tara tour & travel was pretty bad. The people that work at tara are extremely unfriendly and they just drop you off at the busstation, so you can also just take a grab to the minivan terminal and buy a ticket there. The rest did go as planned although it took a bit longer.

Trip was fine. Nice van took us to the main van area and purchased tickets for forward travel. Negative was the lady and driver were both miserable and in very bad moods!

Booked to pick us up at 11 but left at 11.30 but still got there on time :) Tara travel was a little hard to find as maps says it’s over the bridge on the right side but it’s the left of the road. Had to swap buses but got aircon and a comfy seat. Really lovely people

I got on a first mini bus that took me to another bus station, where I waited around 30 minutes for another mini bus to start.
I don’t recommend if you are in a hurry. As I was aware this could happen, it did not bother me. We got there in the end !

Booking process was easy. We arrived at the Khao San Road office 30 minutes in advance, as advised. We were told to wait and left only at 11.30, half an hour late, when a man came out of the office who had already been there when we checked in and led us to a van that had already been parked there ever since we got there... he drove us to the bus station and showed us the platform where again we waited for quite a while. No one told us what we could expect, they didn't speak much english so information was very poor. Eventually the mini bus arrived that would drive us to Kanchanaburi. This was a comfortable van with good ac. Along the route we stopped a couple of times to pick up or drop off passengers. We arrived in Kanchanaburi around 5.30 instead of 3.30 as scheduled. All together it was a comfortabele drive but if you choose the 11am bus just consider it a travel day and don't make any plans as the time schedule means absolutely nothing.
