Not sure if other companies are any better or worse, but this one turned out to be a mess. Even though we arrived earlier at the bus stop to show our pre-paid tickets and reserve our seats, the bus was already full and seats were given other people, they gave us tickets for the next one which departed 1.40h later than our bus was supposed to. The bus itself is comfortable and has running AC (that's why I'm giving this company three stars) The driver also dropped us at the wrong location, unlike the one indicated in the app as the last stop and told we could a take a cab from there to the center.
The car is too cramped as there's no space for personal belongings; passengers have to hug their backpacks, and suitcases are placed in the middle of the aisle. The air conditioning is too weak, making it very hot and uncomfortable.
Waiting under a motorway bridge ('new van terminal ') with scores of vans parked with engines running was less than pleasant and left me desperately in need of fresh air! The van was packed with every seat occupied and no space for luggage. I was lucky as I had a single seat at the front so could've been worse. The driver got us there in one piece, despite being on his phone much of the journey. Cheap enough but there must be better ways to travel.
Luckily I come early and the van have enough passenger to go. It takes around 3hrs to get Bkk. Driver help to stop at Mochit BTS to catch the train to the center. The van is small, full of luggage cause it doesnt have cabin
The minibus would take 2 hours from Bangkok to Pattaya (it was written in an e-ticket).
But it took 3 hours.
The driver stopped for the personal reason at around Moo19 I guess. (more than 15 minutes)
And the driver couldn't talk a bit of English, we couldn't understand where we had to get off. And it cost us 200 THB more (for the taxi).
Normal service. Took a bit more than 3 hours due to traffic. No dedicated spaces for backpacks but we were lucky to have the last row which has enough space at the feet.
We checked-in 2h before planned departure time (transfer was early), and waited only 1h for the next minivan.
We were prepared for the van to be late leaving (and it was, by over an hour). Staff at the bus station were mostly rude, and there was zero communication. The ride is definitely not the 2 hours advertised - 3 minimum, and ours was closer to 3.5, with a number of drop off. No room for luggage, and while the van did have AC, it seemed like the driver turned it off (or it was overwhelmed by the number of sweaty bodies). All in all, a bit of a slog.
The bus left with a long delay. The ticket indicated 13:00, but the bus arrived only at 14:30. This is unacceptable, wasted time waiting. Despite this, the trip went well. Another thing to take into account is that there is no space for luggage in the bus.
