Какие классы и цены на поезда у Fanxipan?
Для ночной поездки вы можете выбрать первый или второй класс в спальном вагоне, в противном случае к вашим услугам “сидячие” вагоны с мягкими или жесткими сиденьями. При выборе класса вагона стоит принимать во внимание как особенности маршрута, так и его продолжительность. В вашем поезде могут быть спальные места первого класса, но вы просто не сможете забронировать их, если ехать вам нужно будет всего пару часов. В целом, места второго класса - оптимальный выбор для более длительных поездок, а мягкие сиденья будут идеальным решением, если поездка займет не более 4-5 часов.
Обращаем внимание, что в странах СНГ применяется иная классификация вагонов. Практически на любом направлении вы можете выбрать один из следующих вариантов:
СВ - двухместное купе, часто имеют персональную душевую и туалет, wi-fi, включены стандартные удобства: спальные места, кондиционер, розетки и т.п.
Купе на 4 человека - оснащены базовыми удобствами: спальные места, кондиционер, розетки и т.п.
Плацкарт - купе открытого типа, вагон “общий” на всех пассажиров. Спальные места и розетки имеются, а вот кондиционер может работать значительно хуже, т.к. работает централизованно на весь вагон.
На некоторых поездах могут встречаться “сидячие” купе или вагоны открытого типа, а также люкс-вагоны повышенной комфортности.
Выбирать тот или иной класс стоит, прежде всего, в зависимости от продолжительности поездки. Если путь займет несколько часов, то целесообразно будет сэкономить и провести это время в плацкарте или в вагоне с местами для сидения. Более же длительные поездки, наоборот, рекомендуется осуществлять в более приватных и комфортабельных купе с лежачими местами.
Плюсы и минусы поездки на поезде
Плюсы:
- Пробки! Точнее, их полное отсутствие. В час пик, в выходные, в самый горячий сезон - на ж/д направлениях пробок не бывает никогда
- Простой и понятный процесс онлайн-бронирования. Еще не так давно, для покупки билетов было необходимо лично ехать на вокзал. Теперь же, купить билет на поезд можно в несколько кликов мышью.
- Поезда - это относительно дешево. Стоимость билетов на поезд в большинстве случаев значительно ниже в сравнении с авиабилетами. При этом, для некоторых направлений время в пути может быть почти одинаковым.
- Хотя ж/д транспорт, безусловно, медленнее авиационного, ж/д вокзалы часто расположены в черте (а то и в самом центре) города, что дополнительно экономит время на дорогу, в то время как аэропорты почти всегда находятся далеко за городом.
- На некоторых направлениях доступны услуги класса люкс, такие как купе с душем и туалетом или бар.
Минусы:
- На большинстве направлений (особенно это касается поездов дальнего следования) поездка на поезде все же занимает больше времени, чем авиаперелет.
- Хоть поезда в целом и ходят по расписанию, опоздания все же иногда случаются и это надо учитывать. В редких случаях, задержки могут растягиваться на часы. Обязательно помните об этом, когда составляете маршрут путешествия - если вы планируете пересадку на самолет, то билет на поезд лучше забронировать с хорошим запасом по времени.
- Слабое место практически всех поездов - чистота туалетов.
- Поезд может делать много остановок на коротком отрезке пути, а остановки далеко не всегда объявляются, что может легко внести путаницу. Также, нужно быть готовым к тому, что ваша остановка будет посреди ночи, а поезд простоит на станции всего несколько минут.

It is clean, toilets are actually OK too, they just smelled bad. You get a snack and water bottle for free. The train is a bit shakey sometimes but there is not too much noise. So that's good. Overal good experience! ????

It wasn't a good experience, really. We booked and pay for a Fanxipan coach, but staff in Fanxipan office gave us two tickets for a coach No Fanxipan. We expend the night in a Oriental Impress, worst of course. Beds were clean but some cockroach in the room and the toilet without water, easy to imagine.
The staff woman in our coach was in a very bad mood.
It wasnt the service that I paid and expected.

Cabin was really nice; we had a good sleep. Only thing: the toilet was really smelly and dirty even at the start and also the cabin was not cleaned very good: there was dirt under the bed.. therefor only 4 stars and not 5..

The waiting area is quite relaxing. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks. Toilet didn’t have toilet paper. We asked for it but was ignored. Although we know the departure and arrival time, it would have been good if there was a recorded announcement at least so we didn’t feel lost and rushed.

Very Nice train, sleeping area with four person is nice. Departure was strict on time and arrival aswell! Only negative point were the toilets, but don’t know how the other trains are.

La cabina estaba bien, pequeña pero no hay que olvidar que es un tren. Nos dieron bebida y algo de comida gratis: snacks, plátano y un bollito para desayunar.
Lo peor fue el baño, que podría estar más limpio.
Por lo demás, fue un viaje agradable.

Easy to exchange ticket with voucher. But slightly disappointed with the train where it's pretty dusty in the room. Toilet is dirty and smelly. Overall is ok for over night train.

We appreciated the fact, you can have a rest, shower and meal in the Fanxipan Express office, that was a big plus. The staff gave us tickets and took us directly to the train. The train was fine, beds are longer than in Livitrans and air condition was fine. We got hot tea or coffee in the morning for free - another advantage. Without no doubt, I recommend Fanxipan Express.

"Luxurious and professional" it is not. Firstly, the cabin was filthy - the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months & there were cockroaches scuttling about on the floor. No air conditioning, so it was too hot to sleep with the door closed. We asked the staff to put on the air conditioning, which they did for about 5 minutes, then it went off again. The staff were shouting & talking loudly in the middle of the night. Also, not all the reading lights were in working order. The only good thing I can say is that the train was on time & the bed linen was clean. Not worth the extra money! Would never travel with Fanxipan Express again. (No complaints about 12Go Asia though!)

The cab was good. It has water,peanuts and bananas as complementary. The bed was comfortable and it was possible to sleep. The bath is not so clean.

Liked the fact,you could both leave your bags at fanxipan place across from the station or; sit down and enjoy the refreshments served there until the train departs.

Considering that this railway is from 1900... and average speed is 40kph, you can sleep.
One thing, sometimes the air conditioning is really too cold. We used paper to limit the air flow.

The carriage we were in was clean. The staff were friendly and spoke some English. Sure, the train rocks but it’s a narrow gauge so just let it rock you to sleep. Only issue we had was the drinks cart is quite noisy. The mattress was quite hard but still comfortable enough. I would recommend the trip to anyone.

Comfy and clean bed, but super annoying drinks cart sellers!! Also some guys (im not whether they are trains staff) talked very loud for a few hours in front of our sleeping coach!!!! I could barely sleep before 1.30 am.
However, when it came to a situation that we had to be transferred by buses for 1/2-1 hours, the trains staff managed smoothly...very well organized.

Assez chaotique à la gare ne serait ce que pour savoir sur quel quai. Personne ne parlant anglais il est très difficile d’obtenir une information concrète. Au final nous avions été transféré sur un autre train. Le chef de cabine a mis 15 mns pour retrouver notre cabine. Beaucoup de stress a 30 mns avant le départ. Sinon. Propre et correcte. Le train est une vraie lessiveuse. Beaucoup de gens n’ont pu fermer l’œil de la nuit. Mais ça fait partie du charme

Fanxipan is in no way equal to Sapalay express. The bed was very hard, we did not sleep, and there were multiple cockroaches in the car. The train leaves and arrives way too early, with nothing open in Hanoi and riders left to wander the streets in the dark to hopefully wait in a lobby somewhere. Overall the Sapa train experience was miserable and poorly run.

I was put off at first because the outside of the car looked like all the others but inside was a whole different world, well worth the few extra dollars to travel in style and get some solid sleep. Booking and getting the tickets in Hanoi was fast and easy, thanks!
