Kupiłam transfer z lotniska do portu i bilet na prom. Dzień wcześniej skontaktowano się ze mną z firmy odpowiedzialnej za transfer z lotniska na prom. W sms były błędne informacje odnośnie odbioru z lotniska. Od razu po przylocie poszłam to wyjaśnić w punkcie obsługi transferów na lotnisku, bo wydawało mi się, że coś tu nie pasuje. Pani z punktu obsługi transferów na lotnisku była bardzo nieprzyjemna, ale ustaliłam z nią potrzebne informacje. Dotarliśmy do portu o czasie. Pracownik Seatran w porcie był bardzo pomocny i dzięki niemu szybko i sprawnie udało się wszystko załatwić. Podróż z Seatran też była komfortowa. Podsumowując: pracownicy od transferów lotnisko - port powinni zwrócić większą uwagę na informacje, które przekazują podróżnym. Natomiast jeśli chodzi o pracowników Seatran i ich łodzie to moim zdaniem wszystko było na najwyższym poziomie.

Swift check in and boarding. Weather was a little windy and boat was rocky but not half as bad as some others I’ve seen… recommend to take motion sickness tablets if get even the slightest bit sea sick as it was rocking and I felt fine.

Ferry boat was just fine, but Mini Van got totally stuffed with people and luggage in between, that it was impossible to move and made the trip very uncomfortable. It was half hour late.

When doing the check-in at the pier, they charged us additional for our 2 year old, despite the booking said children smaller than 100cm are free of charge.

Everything went well. You arrive at the harbour and they tell you which pier you should wait at, but once you’re there, you don’t know which boat is yours. About 15 minutes before departure, they arrive and let you know, but you have to stay attentive.

Fast boat crossing. Unfortunately we needed to wait for late passengers before departure. Really a pity if you are well (40 minutes before departure) on time as requested. I think this is a matter of proper planning. However these people had an entire daytrip booked with the provider, so they just let you wait without any communication…arrival was ahead of schedule, so there is slack in the schedule

The staff is not nice, the boats were all late but nobody could tell you how long you needed to wait. We waited more than 1h in line to check in. Once you’re in the boat it’s pretty fast and comfortable.

The Ferry ride itself was good enough. But the meeting at Samui Airport was incredibly badly organised. Not clear information of where to go. We ask one staff member (in a green t-shirt) who sent us to the wrong place to wait, then I called the hotline, who told me to ask inside the airport information service. Then were told to find someone in a green t-shirt, who send us to a desk were told to wait where the first green t-shirt women had sent us away from. Chaos and hot. Samui airport has not been renovated for at least 25 years. Terribly inefficient and chaotic organisation. 12Go needs to sort this out with the ferry companies and give clearer instruction on the tickets.

It worked in the end but it was no where written that we had to checkin at the counter. There was only a GPS position included as a spot where we would get picked up. But no body showed up and we needed to go to the counter first. It would be great if this could be reflected correctly in the instructions with the ticket. Thanks.

We have booked a ferry with a Seatran Discovery because we’ve seen many bad comments for the trip with catamaran from Ko Samui to Ko Tao (sea can be rough). Once we’ve arrived to the pier I have checked with their employee in the office if we are going with the big ferry, which he confirmed. Moments later they were bringing us to catamaran and we had terrible 1 hour. Staff on the ship was helpful and they gave everyone the bags for vomiting.
All in all, it looks like you cannot really on what you book.

They brought us to the ferry with a long tail boat. My dad has walking issues and he barely could walk in and out to the boat and ferry. I don’t recommend it at all .

Employee at Bangrak seatran pier (Ticket Office) tried to Scam me, when i was pick up my boat-ticket.
He meant, that on Kho Phangan is no taxi, tuctuc, etc. so i need to Book a private Taxi at his ticket Office. ….
Otherwise i had no chance to arrive my hotel….
Vehicle was good and on time.

Great ferry, checking in an hour before departure is not a good idea, you stand in the hot sun at the pier. But the crossing itself was really nice. Spring for VIP area, it’s worth it.
