Wszystko było tak jak trzeba, w określonym czasie.

Korzystaliśmy z podróży z Bangkoku na wyspę Koh Tao. Wyruszyliśmy spod biura firmy. Fajna organizacja i poczekalnia. Jechaliśmy bardzo fajnym dużym autokarem z rozkładanymi na pół leżąco siedzeniami z regulowanym podnóżkiem. Pan rozdał nam kocyki, które były szczelnie zapakowane w folię. Dla każdego przygotowana była buteleczka wody. Dostępne było ładowanie do telefonów przy każdym siedzeniu. Około 2:00 w nocy jest półgodzinna przerwa na posiłek. Można go kupić na takiej dużej stołówce. W autokarze była też dostępna łazienka. Pomiędzy dojazdem do portu a wypłynięciem katamaranu były dwie godziny przerwy. Jesteśmy zachwyceni organizacją.

Wypłynęliśmy z opóźnieniem i nie dotarliśmy do tego portu do którego kupiliśmy bilety. Nie szło się porozumieć z pracownikami na statku nikt nie mówił po angielsku w sposób umożliwiający skomunikowanie się czy dopłyną do innego portu na wyspie. Dodatkowo wykupiliśmy transfer na lotnisko i zamiast jechać najkrótszą drogą kierowca obwiózł nas po całej wyspie mimo iż wcześniej zapewnił że będziemy za 15 minut na lotnisku a byliśmy za 45 minut. nie polecam

Prom spóźniony, poczekalnia tak zapchana że trzeba było stać w pełnym słońcu. Na samym promie też mnóstwo ludzi i pełne słońce, chyba że dopłacisz za miejsce VIP z klimatyzacją. Nie polecam.

Wszystko logistycznie bardzo dobrze rozwiązane z Koh Tao płynie się promem do Surat Thani, Donsak Pier a później wsiada w autobus do Phuket Town.

We ordered a ferry and got a speed boat 😞

An hour early we checked in, then half an hour before takeoff we loaded our bags in the bus. The bus was equipped with charging stations, water and a blanket, and very comfortable bus seat. We stopped at a restaurant at about 2 in the morning, where you could get snacks . I was very cold so bring warm clothes. I did the 21:30 bus, which ment we saw the sunrise on the boat. I was a lovely trip. The staff seemed a bit unorganized but everything went quite well

It wasn't at all what I was expecting. I had thought I'd booked a high speed catamaran from Koh Samui to Koh Tao, but we were ushered into a speed boat to Koh Pangan then ushered into a waiting very old dilapidated large slow monohull to Koh Tao. It was quite confusing, but it got us there.

The journey went very well.
We left on time and arrived on time, within about 10 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.
Everything was very well signposted during the transfer between the boat and the bus.
During the bus check-in, they make sure to seat you next to the people you are travelling with.
This time, there were no surprises, and we got the correct boat and the correct bus, both of which were clearly indicated on the voucher/website when booking.

We especially booked the ride with the big ferry instead of the speedboat as we wanted a more comfortable ride and didn’t want to get motion sickness. However we still had to go with the speedboat

The ferry was overcrowded and people were sleeping across three seats. We didn't have a seat and the staff made no effort to tidy up so that everyone could find a seat.

It was Not clear from which of the Piers we have to leave. Proposal you add a link to Google Maps from which Pier the Ferry left. We have benn on the wrong Pier but early enough to Switch over.

The drive was very cramped, the toilet in both the bus and the ferry was terrible and very dirty, vip is very recommended. We got to the dock 2 hours early, took one ferry to koh tao, from there we had to get off the ferry and switch to another to koh phangan. There is a wait of an hour and a half between the two ferries which wasn't clear, also there was an additional delay of half an hour in koh tao which was just annoying. In general it is a difficult transport to the island but has to be done. At least everything moved smoothly enough and was easy to follow.

Picking up the boarding tickets and luggage tags at the port counter went very smoothly.
The boarding area is clearly signposted (and in any case, you are given small stickers to put on your clothes so that the staff can direct you to the right place).
The boat arrived on time and dropped us off on time as well.
However, it might be worth specifying the type of boat when booking, as the boat we took was not the one shown on the voucher.
For the Koh Phangan → Koh Tao journey we took, be careful when choosing your departure time, as depending on the schedule, you may not be on the “large” catamaran (the white boat shown on the voucher), but on a small speedboat.
The waves are felt much more strongly on the speedboat, and it could make you seasick if you are not used to it or are prone to motion sickness, as it is a much smaller boat. The journey takes around 50 minutes.
This should be specified when booking.
If you have no issue with this, then it’s perfectly fine. Otherwise, it’s something to keep in mind when choosing your departure time.

We were put on a smaller open air speed boat instead of the larger air conditioned ferry in their listing pictures. Which would have been fine, except that it was overbooked so there was a crowd of us left squashed and standing at the back of the ferry for the entire 30+min journey. Comfort aside, it would probably have been a safety lapse too since the overbooking means there would have been a shortage of life jackets had we required them.

The weather was not good, and we arrive an hour an a half late.

The bus broke down an hour from our destination and we waited an hour before organising our own taxi to destination of we would have missed check in for our hotel. Nothing was communicated by the driver until we had been sat waiting for 45 minutes.
