Het is normaal gesproken niet mogelijk om een ticketklasse te kiezen als je met een busje reist. Toch kun je bij de vervoerder navragen welk type busje op jouw route rijdt. Sommige busjes bieden plaats aan slechts 9 tot 10 passagiers, andere aan maximaal 15 passagiers. In het eerste geval heb je meer beenruimte, bredere stoelen en een comfortabelere rit. De voordelen van reizen per busje
- Busjes komen vaak op bestemmingen waar geen bus of trein komt. Dit omvat secundaire steden en kleinere dorpen.
- In de meeste gevallen zijn busjes de snelste manier om relatief korte afstanden over land af te leggen, simpelweg omdat ze kleiner zijn dan bussen.
- Met busjes kun je uitstappen op een gunstiger punt onderweg en niet noodzakelijkerwijs bij de terminal. Dat kan je in sommige gevallen veel tijd en geld besparen.
Nadelen van reizen per busje
- Sommige busjes kunnen behoorlijk krap zijn en bieden weinig ruimte voor bagage. Eigenlijk geldt dat voor bijna alle busjes. Als je meer dan één tas, koffer of rugzak hebt, kan het een goed idee zijn om een extra zitplaats voor je bagage te kopen. Helaas betaal je dan wel dubbel voor je reis.
- Het is de moeite waard om te controleren of je busje volgens een vaste dienstregeling rijdt of pas vertrekt wanneer het vol is. In dat laatste geval kun je soms lang moeten wachten, omdat het op bepaalde routes behoorlijk wat tijd kan kosten voordat alle plaatsen bezet zijn.
- Je moet weten dat chauffeurs berucht zijn om hun snelle rijstijl. Zelfs de meest gerenommeerde bedrijven slagen er soms niet in ervoor te zorgen dat chauffeurs zich aan de snelheidslimieten houden. Ook als de chauffeur er niet op aandringt, moet je altijd je veiligheidsgordel dragen.
- Als je gemakkelijk wagenziek wordt en je reis kronkelige wegen bevat, is de kans groter dat je last krijgt van wagenziekte in een busje dan in een gewone bus. Neem voor de zekerheid ongeveer een half uur voor vertrek een middel tegen wagenziekte in.

Nobody warned me that the pick-up arbour was not the one mentioned in the booking(because under maintenance) but actually the other one,more than a km away; once arrived at the destination harbour,no one was waiting for me but i had to wonder around and ask for the free(prepaid) transportation from the harbour to the main bus/van.

The schedule said we were to arrive at 1:30. When we checked in to the bus, we were informed that they in fact expected to arrive at 2:45. I asked if there was trouble on the road. They responded that everything was normal and that the schedule was untruthful. They acted as if that was normal. So, it looked as if we would be late for our 2:30 ferry. Luckily, the ferry left 15 minutes late so all was ok. But their lie lack of concern for truthfulness created needless anxiety. I will never patronize this company again.

The ticket stayed to arrive at a certain pier 30 minutes before, which we did. The ticket did not specify whatsoever what ferry company we were to use, and there was no one on the pier that could help up. We contacted the number on the bus provider website, who put us through to the right people AFTER our scheduled departure time, who rang at us and were extremely rude, stating we were at the wrong pier (we had sent them our location, we were on the pier that matched the map co ordinates on the ticket). Boat eventually turned up, we then had to wait 45 mins for our bus, and arrived over 3 hours after the given time.

Left way too late as the driver kept finding local people to fill up the bus, even waiting 30mins at one point. One of the stops to pee, the driver just ordered a full on meal, meaning we had to wait 30 mins before driving off again. Needless to say we were late at our destination, AND we got dropped off in the wrong spot! When I told the driver, he didn’t understand a word of what I said and laughed at me with his colleagues.

We were late for more than 1 hour. Everybody kept telling it will work out but it didn’t. Also the seats in the back for 4 adults is just too small. It wasn’t comfortable at all.

The timing was not very accurate, as we arrived about one hour later than the scheduled time, despite no traffic congestion.
The bus felt a bit crowded, with limited legroom, and the luggage compartment was quite small, so some passengers had to keep their luggage in front of their seats.
That said, the driver was friendly and professional, and he was accompanied by another driver, which was reassuring from a safety perspective.

We got to the office at 7:20 for an 8am departure (it says tyo come 30 minutes early). But didn't arrive until 8:30am. We then had more pickups before leaving. We got to ferry at 1pm. I booked this trip because they claim it is 3.5 hours. It was actually 5!!!

Instead of the VIP boat we were promised, we were put on a boat that broke down and left us stuck in the middle of the sea for two hours. In total, the trip took 7 hours instead of the advertised 3.5 hours. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

The bus left late but also stopped a few times -without an explanation- waiting to pick up other passengers along the route: was supposed to be direct. The arrival was scheduled for 6, at 7:30 we still had not reached our destination. Why don’t you just put a more realistic time?

The seats in the limousine bus were were small and everything crammed. Luggage was stored in the isles. We had a 1 h delay on aa 3 h ride because the driver was going slowly and there were several unplanned stops to let single local people out (sometimes at 5 min intervals which seemed even more unnecessary).

Journey stated to take 3.5 hours when in fact took nearly 7 hours. Left 30 mins late after getting a phone call 30 mins before departure asking where we were and told us to hurry to then be told we would actually have to wait an hour anyway. The van was ok in comfort but the drive to the port itself took 4 hours and then we were told we had to wait 2 hours at the port for our ferry. Definitely not 3.5 hours so bare that in mind when planning the trip.

2 hours late, and no communication (Helpline inusefull). If you have time for a day waste, it is okay, otherwise it is better to look for a private transfer, not so most expensive.

Got to PP about 4 hours after I was supposed to. Woke up early to take a 9 am ferry to end up waiting on the ground for the van for two hours. Van eventually broke down 30 minutes away from PP - I had to take a tuk tuk the remaining distance. Van was cramped and slow.

The boat left on time, I should have been suspicious of the short time listed for the journey, in total were arrived about 2 hrs later than scheduled. The bus was a bit tricky to find at the port too. The van was unmarked and a lot of people seemed to have not heard of the company. Finally the driver found us and the trip its self was comfortable.

Die Verbindung, die verkauft wurde existiert nicht. Wenn man um 12.30 vom Eden Pier abfährt, ist die Ankunft in Sinahoukville um 12.50. Der Bus, für den mir das Ticket verkauft wurde, fährt jedoch erst um 14.30 Uhr. Die versprochebe Ankunft in Phnom Penh ist somit nicht um 16.15 Uhr, sondern 2 Stunden später.
Der Busfahrer war jedoch sehr freundlich und hat alle in der Nähe ihrer Ziele abgsetzt.

Bitte werben sie die Fahrt nicht mit „VIP“ an. Das Auto war innen kaputt, dreckig und schmuddelig. Zudem wurde währendder Fahrt sicher 6x angehalten um wieder Leute auf & abzuladen. Unser Gepäck würde andauern herumgeschoben und platziert, das Auto wurde mit Gepäck und Menschen vollgestopft, sodass ich immer schauen musste, dass kein Rücksack mit auf den Kopf fiel.
