Biasanya, memilih kelas tiket apabila melakukan perjalanan dengan van adalah mustahil. Namun, anda boleh menyemak dengan pengendali dan/atau memilih jenis van yang mempunyai laluan ke destinasi anda. Kelebihan Mengembara dengan Van
- Van sering sampai ke destinasi yang tidak dicapai oleh bas atau kereta api. Destinasi ini termasuklah bandar dan kampung yang lebih kecil
- Dalam kebanyakan kes, van ialah cara terpantas untuk sampai ke destinasi jika perjalanan anda berjarak pendek di laluan darat, kerana van lebih kecil daripada bas dan lebih mudah dikendalikan
- Van membolehkan anda turun di mana-mana sahaja ketika anda berada di dalam perjalanan dan tidak semestinya di terminal. Ciri ini membolehkan anda menjimatkan banyak masa serta wang dalam beberapa keadaan.
Kekurangan Mengembara dengan Van
- Sesetengah van mungkin agak sempit dengan ruang yang terhad untuk bagasi. Sebenarnya, hampir semua van menawarkan ruang bagasi yang terhad dan jika anda mempunyai lebih daripada satu beg, beg pakaian atau beg galas, mungkin lebih bagus jika anda membeli tempat duduk berasingan untuk bagasi anda. Der Bus selbst war soweit in Ordnung, ausser dass er keine Toilette hatte und wir aus einem der unteren Abteile recht unfreundlich auf halber Strecke verscheucht wurden. War wie sich später herausstellte für das Personal reserviert, jedoch nicht gekennzeichnet.

Driver was a bit late for pick up and we arrived 30min late. Driver was driving like crazy but I guess most drivers do in Vietnam.
We had 1 bathroom stop which was nice, Car was comfortable and communication on WhatsApp about pick up time was excellent. We got to be dropped off at our hotel which was nice.

Great trip. Easy to book and the staff at April were incredibly helpful when 1) i booked the wrong day, and 2) the flight was considerably delayed. (Spoke to April not 12go via WhatsApp).
How it worked: after our flight a gentleman just came around to where we were asked to wait, with my booking info on his phone; my partner and I (and other guests) followed him a short walk away to his minibus, popped luggage in the back, and an hour later we were at our hotel.
Very safe driving and I will book April again!

Great service. We immediately received the booking confirmation via email and whatsapp. They even asked us for the adress of our hotel and a pick-up/drop-off there was possible. They spoke english very well and it was even possible to take an earlier bus last minute. We got picked up in a minivan which unfortunately didn't have seltbelts. We arrived a lot earlier than expected in Hoi An.

Best experience ever. My flight was very late due to bad weather conditions and we ended up landing 3 hours after the bus trip I had booked. They were so nice and helpful and allowed me to use my ticket for the next day as the weather conditions were too bad to drive that same night. Will definitely book with them again for my trip back from Hoi An to Da Nang

Excellent service. The driver text the night before and arrange pick up from our hotel, directly to our hotel in hoi an. Very comfortable journey and we even arrived earlier than planned. The driver was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Highly recommend.

After booking and paying we’re informed that our options were to either split across two buses or sit upfront with the driver. We weren’t informed of any seat allocation issue in advance of booking and weren’t offered any sort of compensation. Given they notified us the day before we also didn’t have much other option. It’s not a huge issue but given everyone else on the bus had recliner seats and we were squashed into the front cab it did leave a sour taste.
We were told to be there at 7:45 prompt otherwise the bus would leave without us. We did this, but when we arrived we’re told that we couldn’t get on the bus waiting there, despite it having empty seats. We then had to wait 30 minutes for another bus to arrive - thankfully it wasn’t raining.
When you get to Hoi An you’re still a 30 minute walk from their drop off point in some suburb. This is our error as we could have checked this prior to booking but wrongly assumed that given Hoi An is a small place the bus would drop off near the centre / old town (as most the other operators do).
The trip wasn’t bad, and the lady at the booking office in Hoi An was nice enough to let me use her bathroom when we arrived as well - but wouldn’t recommend this operator based on our experience.

Once you get to Da Nang there are no major bus companies that sell tickets to Hoi An so you must book a trip with a smaller company like April Adventures. Let me tell you their service was amazing. I was contacted on what’s app with confirmation of my ride the day before and when I got to Da Nang the next day. I was asked to find a land mark outside of the central bus station for pickup by April Adventures because 12go weren’t helpful with their instructions for where to wait for pickup. There is a coffee shop called dollar coffee across the road from the central station I was collected there. April adventures came and picked my up earlier than my ticketed time on request and the car was clean and tidy, dropped me straight to my hostel. 10/10 would ride again

Communication with the operator was good in advance by email (asking for confirmation of us arriving at the location at agreed time 10mins before). One of the companies vehicles arrived on time, but wasn't for us, messaged them on whatsapp and they confirmed another vehicle was due in next 10mins. Sadly the bus was full so we had to go at the front next to the driver, with less leg room (not the VIP seats we paid for). The bus stopped in Da Nang to drop off 4 people, we tried to move into these now empty seats for the remaining time to Hoi An, but the driver told us we couldn't as more people were being picked up. We had to remain in the front for the remaining 30-45mins (after already having sat on the bus for over 1.5hrs) whilst the people traveling a shorter distance got to benefit from the seats, who would have paid less money also. The last issue was that the final drop-off address stated on 12go and what the actual operator confirmed by email were different. We queried it and they did thankfully drop us off as per what the operator confirmed (although actually incorrect) and 12go provided a partial refund for the poor service.

We booked 1st class soft beds (only tickets left), but the beds were very hard. Toilets were not so nice, pee all over. Had to sleep with a mom and her baby, who cried all night.

We arrived very early from the ride before and needed to change the time. This was no problem because we easily could upgrade to a private car for just 1,50 USD per person. The communication was very easy and friendly.

The driver was crazy. This went far beyond the usual Vietnamese driving style. His behavior was very dangerous: he repeatedly tried to overtake other trucks in risky situations and had to brake suddenly when he realized it wasn't possible. It felt extremely unsafe.
The driver was on time, and we even arrived earlier than expected, which is not surprising given how fast he was driving. However, the air conditioning wasn't strong enough for a full minivan. The first way (Hanoi to Ninh Binh) was way better and safer. Communication by WhatsApp is very nice.

Driver was speeding like hell (Ha Long to Ninh Binh). Felt unsafe. Please take some responsibility for your passengers!! Bus also stoped at random several times to pick up and deliver parcels.
There also were communication problems with the company according to the drop off point.

1. The seatbelts are to short. Only a child could get them done up. We felt very unsafe.
2. The van interior has been poorly maintained. Loose trim everywhere and the back doors did not close properly.

the first limousine was great, arrived on time and was air conditioned, comfortable and had working chargers. when we arrived in hoi an the lady at the hung thinh phat office told us to meet her there instead of where April travel told us to. This was not communicated to April travel which resulted in a huge panic when the began calling us asking why we were not in the original location. It was all sorted out and we made our bus but was quite stressful and the second bus was awful, air con not working, smelled funny and chargers that didn’t work while the bus was running. It is worth noting that April adventure travel only organise and give WhatsApp support for the travel, which honestly they did well, but you are still travelling with the hung thinh phat bus and customers who have paid considerably less for the pleasure and the buses themselves are equally as variable and chaotic. Our drivers were very helpful themselves though.

While the drive was quick, we had to change vehicles seemingly as we were the only ones on the first minibus. Neither vehicle had any meaningful AC and on the second one we had to sit in the front pressed up against each other. While not unique to this driver in Vietnam, they excessively used the horn and drove quite fast. No rest stop was offered.

The trip took forever, while not entirely the drivers fault (one passenger asked for an unscheduled stop and took about 20 minutes in the bathroom), he did make a few unscheduled stops to pick up items. At least, we were dropped off at our hotel directly and didn’t need to other transfer they had mentioned in the reservation.

Excellent, beyond expectations. An operator contacted me immediately via WhatsApp and was able to recommend the right stop for my needs and arranged the transfer. She also accommodated my request for an earlier return time and arranged the transfer. Comfortable journey and a great driver.

I selected Aprils Adventure for this booking which cost more than most but another company came with the bus. The bus also had to make u turns back to destinations a few times to pick up people due to lack of communication. It took an extra 20 minutes to leave due to this.
