Giant ibis is usually comfortable and service oriented. Bordercrossing into vietnam a breeze: while we had lunch , they processed the passports. Easy as. This bus however had aircon issues.

First, only a few seats have the charger working. Secondly departure is 20 mins late at least. The whole journey was more than 8 hours instead of 65 hours. There was a change of bus at the border (due to lack of papers of Giant ibis bus to enter) but the bus on Vietnam side was of lower quality.

The bus was clean comfortable they give you water and snacks. At the beginning of the trip they tell you haw many stops you have to go to the bathroom. The steward was very friendly

Bus was very comfortable, we were provided water and snacks. The english speaking guide talked and helpes us through the whole boarder crossing with ease and made it completely stress free. They do take your passport but this is to speed up the process. We did arrive a bit late but this was due to large queues at the boarder which was out of their control.

We left 30 minutes late which at first wasn't a big deal but ended up arriving over 4 hours late. The staff were super friendly and helpful though so no complaints there. When I booked the ticket it said we would receive snacks and food. We ended up having to buy our own food at the border crossing and the snack was a very tiny croissant.

Very smooth border crossing. The bus took our passeport at the departure, gave them back to us before the border crossing. We passed the border walking and went back in the same bus after the border. Quick and smooth. The bus had air con and the seats were confortable.
