The mini-van left 30 minutes late from Chiang Mai. The driver took it upon himself to catch up with the vans that left on time and drove like a F1 driver through the 372 turns between Chiang Mai and Pai leaving in the vehicle with car sickness.

At first I was afraid of the driving on the many curves to get to Pai and the car sickness. But I have to say that the driver was exellent, very fast yes, but I wasn't car sick at the end. Started 15 min after and arrived 1 hour before

Even though the trip was shorter than expected (which is a good thing), the obvious wreckless driving style of the driver made a lot of people in the van sick. We all knew it was a mountain road so some would have motion sickness, but most of the problem cam from the fact the driver was driving way too fast. I've been travelling in many countries in the last 20 years, i'm used to the worst bus possible, but these guys apparently win the title! PS: i've asked around when i arrived in Pai and everyone complained of the same thing for every van they got it in. Mine was apparently even worse as he managed to arrives 20min faster than most other vans...

The drive was no problem at all! We ate and drank coffee on the way over the curvy road and also arrived 1 hour early. Ride was pretty chill, driver was very friendly and we can't say anything negative, but of course that can depend on the driver.

Speedy process from start to finish and arrived to Pai within 3hrs. The coordinates in the pdf for the meeting place in Chiang Mai are not as accurate as finding the booth/starting point was troublesome. I would look into improving that

Would highly recommend something against travel sickness and long shorts since the AC in the van is rather cold. Drive was in time and the stop was good for toilet and refreshment.
