Very smooth drive, all the way.
The paper works at the border went smooth as can be. I has e visa but there were about 20 passengers who did thru the bus service provider and by the time I was with my stamp, those group has already got there visa too.
Wifi all the way, goody bag and bottle of water when about to start the trip and lunch provided half way.

The bus ride was very good. They give you some snacks and also 3 options of lunch that they will be waiting you with after passing the border to the Thai side. There was an assistant during the bus ride that gave out indications as how to do when we got to the border Cambodia-Thailand and how to find the bus on the other side after passing migration control, which was helpful. He gives you the option to pay them 3 dollars to do the exit 'paperwork' on the Cambodian side because they say it will take a lot of time, but that's not really true. The people that decided not to pay and do it themselves were right behind us in the migration queue on the Thailand side (there is quite some corruption on the Cambodian side from everyone: bus companies, police officers, etc) which was actually what took the longest time and we all had to do the 2h migration queue (that time might vary depending day and time of the day). So my only recommendation is not to pay the 3 dollars and do the paperwork yourself like you would do anywhere else, as it doesn't make a difference. Other then that, the service was very nice.

Tip: buy the VIP passes. They are worth the money and help you to cross tbe border very fast and easy.

Everything went perfect. Comfortable ride, food and water and snacks provided. Staff speaks decently to good English. Lots of help getting through the border (even if you didn't purchase the 7USD VIP Package for the Visa). I was amazed and can only recommend.

Je kreeg een informatie folder met alle stappen goed en kort uitgelegd zo weet je wat we te wachten stond. De rit met eerste busje was wel oncomfortabel. De chauffeur was vriendelijk en reed goed. Aangekomen bij de grens goed begeleiding gehad. De bus andere bus die van de grens naar siem priem reed was super comfortabel daar goed onze slaap in kunnen halen. Voor de prijs zeker wel aan te raden. Ook kregen we een zakje met snackje water en nog wat leuks.

The first ride to the boarder was amazing. I had my own bus and a lot of comfort. Then i crossed the boarder and on the other side i could not find my bus. I asked around for about 1h, then they told me to wait for 2h to bring me to the bus park. It was getting dark and my feelings were not okay with that. I took than a taxi to siem reap.

I booked a van-van transfer from Bangkok to Siem Reap. The trip from Bangkok to the border was smooth and comfortable. It is notable that the wifi on the van was not working. I had to walk across the border and through customs on my own, but I was given clear verbal instructions, and there are signs on both sides of the border in English. I am not sure if there was a pre booked van for me on the Cambodian side since I was the only traveler and the van companies seemed to have changed, but I had to wait around 1.5 hours for the second van. I perceived they were scrambling to find any car headed in the direction of Siem Reap to take me. I had asked the van operating company on the Cambodian side where the drop off point would be so that my hotel transfer could pick me up accordingly, but the van driver dropped me off at a different location than I was told. There is no Siem Reap Travel Mart station (not sure if there was one that has since closed because of COVID but all listings on Google Maps do not exist). When I arrived, there was as single Tuk Tuk waiting for me which I was forced to take as there was no one else at the site and I had no way of contacting my hotel.

Journey was fine about 6 hours though had 20 minutes for a break. The annoying thing was being at the pick up an hour before leaving as stated so 7am to leave at 8am.
So missing breakfast at hotel for 7.00. only to be picked up at 8am.
Journey and dropped off no problems at hotel.

As it was written in thr comments, we waited for the man from the Travel Mart for one hour. McDonald's was closed, so sat on the road for an hour. After that driver took us to the bus. And after 26 more we started. When we get into the bus, the first seats were already occupied with local people, not tourists. They spoke loud, this was annoying. But all other things were ok. Often stops for toilets, comfortable seats, A/C, we arrived at time.

Comfy bus with a big legroom. AC works well, and we got water and snacks. Our guide was super cute and helpful. Smooth border crossing without additional charges. We had evisa, but you can go on your own (30$ + pic, no hard feelings) or with their help (40$).

We travelled to Battambang. It was a very nice and comfortable bus. But they asked to be at the pickup place at least 60min before departure. So we did, and there was no one from the company for 40 min. Pick up place is just a point on the street. There os no toilet if you need it. So we came at 7:30 and bus started at 9:10.
On the border they do everything in a hurry, but explain everything very clear, but if you crossed the border many times it can be uncomfortable to do it as a group. But it saves time for all.
Especially for Battambang, there is no information about the fact that the bus going to Siem Reap, and they drop you off at Sisophon (half way from the border to SR). Then we were picked up by the private car with one more passenger. The car was loaded with a load of instant noodles, so they mounted our luggage on the top with a scotch tape. You should be ready for this when you travel in Asia :)
So, anyway trip was comfortable, bus was perfect, staff was nice and helpful and we arrived almost on time, though I even didn’t expect it. I recommend

We arrived on time. The bus was very confortable, offered water and a snack and over all, the girl of the staff was very nice and helpful all the time. She was always answering all the questions with good explanations and a smile on her face and helped all the passengers with the border issues. We can reccomend it

Everything from pick-up to water and snack, brunch break and explanations and help (if wanted, nobody pressured us) with visa on arrival was great.
Immigration is easy to do by yourself if you don’t mind standing in line 3 times. Otherwise pay 10Dollars and have the bus company do it for you. :)

Reiseleiter war super. Hat insbesondere bei der Einreise jeden unterstützt bzw. erläutert was genau zu tun ist, dass man problemlos in Kambodscha einreisen kann ohne abgezockt zu werden. Insgesamt dauerte unser Aufenthalt an dem Grenzgebiet Poi Pet 1,5 Stunden.
Busstandard war gut für asiatische Verhältnisse: wirkte sicher und es gab eine nachträglich eingebaute Toilette. Es gab einen halben Liter Wasser und ein luftiges süßes Gebäck.
Leider kamen wir nicht wie angegeben um 11 Uhr an sondern mit einer Stunde Verspätung am Krokodil Markt an. Dies lang sicherlich daran, dass der Busfahrer mehrere Male in Kambodscha Im Rahmen der aufhätten grundlos anhielt. Einmal wurden irgendwelche Wahrscheinlich Einheimische mit genommen. Die anderen Male war das anhalten keine Reise-Pause im klassischen Sinne.

the overall trip was good and the process at the border was okay too. They had a free tuk-tuk service to bring you to the accomodation from the bus station. My tuk-tuk driver tried to sell me an Angkor Wat tour and really insisted on me. When I finally said no he got very mad at me.

Everything worked well, from pick up till drop off. Staff very nice. Boarder crossing went also well, without any problem. There is wifi on the bus while in Thailand and also you can charge your phone. One break on the route if I am not counting the border crossing. We got water and small cookie. I recommend

They ask people to arrive an hour before hand but turn up later than that. They could reduce the waiting time. However they were very good with their instructions and explanations and the bus was comfortable

Trip went really well. We were welcomed at the pier om the island and the operator took us on the boat with the bus. We departed once we were on the mainland and the driver drove really well and there were plenty of stops. We arrived a lot earlier than schedule. I really recommend this operator above Boonsiri.

Nice staff, good help at the border and good seats. But the trip from the border to Siem Reap was horrible... Deadly detours with oncoming trucks I do not know how many times. It felt several times that the bus would overturn because the driver was so stressed and he was driving like he thought he was on a racing track. I will not be booking a trip again. Thanks.

Super trajet, à l'heure à khao san. Pour ce qui est de la frontière tout est bien pris en charge par les accompagnateurs avec evisa ou sans. Vous pouvez aussi donner 4dls de plus et ils s'occupent de tout ! Arrivé à siem reap tuk tuk gratuit jusqu'à votre hôtel. Parfait. (prévoyez quand même de quoi grignoter pour le chemin).

It got me to Sianoukville, so that was good. But it wasn't a good trip. I thought on booking that it would be one bus to the border and then a van straight from the border to Sihaoukville. It was actually a bus, 2 vans, a motorbike and then another bus. We were told that we had to be quick getting our visas or the bus would leave without us at 8am when we boarded. We had to wait in between the vans in Thailand at a bus station for an hour which meant we were at the border at 7:22am, and a guy who works for the company was screaming and shouting at us telling us to hurry up - but there was literally no way we could go faster. We eventually got the visas sorted, and had to use a bike to get to the bus and weren't offered a helmet. I had to get off where there was a police checkpoint and walk for 10 minutes as I didn't have a helmet on! Luckily the bus waited for me - I think this was because the girl who was on my Thailand bus kept asking the driver to. A lot of traffic going into Sihaoukville (not the buses fault obviously!). Was a very stressful journey and I've done a lot of travel in Asia and other parts of the world.

We were a bit anxious before the trip as we read a very mixed feedback here and on Tripadvisor. The agent arrived to Bangkok/McDonalds around 12:30 and we left McDonalds with the others around 12:50. So be punctual with the arrival! The bus was old but comfortable. We could have slept all the way happily if the road had better conditions. It was really bumpy and we awoke many times. The bus had AC and we got covers to keep us warm. We paid extra 10 USD per person to have our visa taken care of at the border. At the border we waited approx 2 hours, mainly in the bus. We arrived to Siem Reap at 10:30. We didn't accept the "free" tuktuk and neither should you :) All together, its a cheap service and you get what you paid for. I can recommend.

12go is a fantasy company that really tries their best. i got hooked up with a great travel company and even got to take the large vip bus instead of a minibus, for no extra charge. Thai transportation can be wild but 12go makes it easy for me every time

they will make the boarder crossing look easy for those people who are willing to pay more for visa processing.. they told us that we will not pay anything since we're also from asia, but then later on asked that we "give" $5 or 200 baht so that immigration would allow us to get passport stamps..when my friend and I decided not to pay more.. we were told to go and do our thing (we had no clue where we're supposed to go, the place was full of people trying to sell or offer tuktuk), ALL those corrupt people at the dirty, and smelly "office" also extorted money from us, I think everyone one from the bus company and the corrupt officials are close friends..haha.. well I have to still give 100baht (small thing, but cringe worthy) or the guy on the window will not give me back my passport... hmmmm,
the wifi was also not working when we reached Cambodia, it says they have to top up since the balance has expired and they said nothing can be done ab0ut it. I'm giving 2 stars for the bus driver who made the trip safe, should have been 1 star

The staff was nice, helpfull. They give us free water and snack. There were a launch break with cheap and good food. They had wifi, AC and toilet on the bus. They helped with the border crossing, but they didn't force it. Its absolutly 5 star!
