- 밴을 이용하면 터미널이 아니더라도 탑승 도중에 내게 더 적합한 지점에서 하차할 수 있습니다. 실제로 시간과 비용을 크게 절약할 수 있는 경우도 있습니다.
밴 여행의 단점
- 일부 밴은 짐을 넣을 수 있는 공간이 제한되어 매우 비좁을 수 있습니다. 사실 거의 모든 밴의 경우 짐을 넣을 수 있는 공간이 제한되어 있으며, 가방, 캐리어, 백팩이 두 개 이상 있는 경우 짐을 놓아둘 좌석을 별도로 구매하는 것이 좋습니다. 하지만 이 경우 비용은 두 배로 지불해야 하죠.
- 밴이 정해진 시간에 운행되는지, 아니면 모두 탑승해야 출발하는지 확인하는 것이 좋습니다. 후자인 경우, 여러 노선에서 밴에 모든 사람이 탑승되는 데 시간이 오래 걸릴 수 있으므로 상당히 오래 기다려야 할 수 있습니다.
- 밴 기사들은 과속하는 경우가 많다는 점에 유의하세요. 가장 평판이 좋은 운영사의 경우에도, 기사들이 제한 속도를 잘 준수하지 않을 수 있습니다. 밴 기사가 과속을 하든 그렇지 않든, 밴 여행 동안에는 항상 안전 벨트를 착용하세요.

Bei der Abfahrt in Ao Nang war einer der beiden Fahrer sehr unhöflich. Es war nicht sofort ersichtlich, dass das der richtige Shuttle ist, der uns zur Fähre bringt. Anstelle dies klar zu kommunizieren, wurden wir nur angeblafft, wie viele Personen wir sind. Die fahrt im Van war ok, allerdings müffelte es leicht und der Van war auch nicht richtig sauber. Die Kommunikation des Fahrers mit uns Gästen während der Fahrt (weitere Pickup-Stops, Pause...) war gleich 0, vielleicht konnte er nicht so gut englisch sprechen. Aber wir kamen pünktlich an und der Fahrer besorgte uns dann noch die Tickets für die Fähre. Alles in allem durchschnittlich.

Es gibt zwei Mc Donald in Krabi. Leider wurde nicht klar kommuniziert welches das ist für die Abholung. Der erboste Fahrer holte uns 45 Minuten später dann ab und verlangte zusätzliche 200 Baht für das Gepäck (Koffer).

Wir haben beim check in in khao sok jeder 100b bezahlt für den taxi transfer später ins hostel. Nicht passiert. Zudem ist der Fahrer wie ein Geistesgestörter gefahren.

An der Fähre wurde uns gesagt, dass wir von der falschen Gesellschaft seien. Leider hat hier auch 12go nicht helfen können. Nach viel Diskussion und einer zum Glück netten Angestellten wurde nochmals beim Veranstalter gefragt und wir durften die Fähre betreten und nutzen. Ansonsten war aber alles in Ordnung.

Sowohl Die Van- als auch die Fährenfahrt waren unkompliziert und gut getaktet unser Fahrer des Vans hat sich sehr beeilt und war sehr freundlich

Fahrer hatte uns offensichtlich am Parkplatz vergessen und musste umdrehen (das sagten uns die anderen Passagiere später), um uns eine halbe Stunde nach vereinbarter Abfahrt einzusammeln. Dann ist er einmal weit in eine kleine Waldstraße gefahren, hat dort 15 min gewartet um wieder umzudrehen. Später hatte er eine halbe Stunde an einem Parkplatz eine Pause eingelegt. Zum Ende hin ist er immer schneller und unsicherer gefahren, er ist rücksichtsvoll gefahren, aber wie eine bersenkte Sau! Vermutlich hatte er eine Fahrt im Anschluss, die er halbwegs pünktlich erreichen wollte. Wir sind im Endeffekt 1,5 Stunden nach der angegeben Ankunftszeit in Krabi angekommen und das bei einer angegeben Reisezeit von 2,5 Stunden.

Wir hatten Glück mit unseren Plätzen im viel zu engen Minivan. Die anderen hatten die großen Rucksäcke zwischen den Füßen und im Gang liegen, da der Van voll besetzt war und somit kein Platz für Gepäck war.
Wir sind allerdings sehr pünktlich angekommen und wurden auch rechtzeitig abgeholt.

The ferry is old and slow and there was a cockroach inside where you can sit… at least they gave us a vip bus for the price of a normal one but the usb chargers didn’t work and sometimes we could smell something coming probably from outside, and the AC was FREEZING. Bad experience

They make you wait for over an hour at a random stop after arriving in Surat Thani and again in the middle of the night. Both stops are not at shops but small restaurants clearly linked to the bus company so they can extract more money from you. Other operators stop at 7/11 where you can actually buy things you might need and not for such long periods. We spend a lot of the night waiting, hoping the bus would leave soon. The employees treat you like sheep rather than people. The seats were also quite uncomfortable for overnight although it was nice they could recline and that there was charging points and good a/c. The a/c was turned off the last 30 minutes making the bus very hot and the charging ports didn't work during the night either.

Bad transport overral. The workers in the Khao Sok station are rude and nonchalant. The van arrived more than half an hour late, and showed very angry and kind of verbally agressive for no reason. Arrived 40min late.
The driving was fine.
But I would defenetly not take this company again.

Just the first Van that pick up us at the mcdonalds was nice, the driver very helpful (that is why the 2 stars).
After the vehicle transfer in Surat Thani, there was no longer any space between the seats.

The Ferry was on time, I arrived to land again around 6am. The van to go to Khao Sok it was supposed to be there at 8am and we arrived at 9.30am... The drivers was unclear about the drop off point.

The ferry looks so awesome I never thought having nice ferry but the problem was if you have heavy luggage you need to lift by yourself. You will use stairs going up and going down. That's the down side and alot of transfer. No snacks or water offered compared to the bus operation they offer free dinner and snacks. The bus was big and spacious but the charging such as USB port /PD port/type C port was not working. Maybe in the future if you have those things. You will have more customers in the future. The bus driver was on time.5:30am we arrived in bangkok

Bus was what you expect, fully reclining seats and blanket supplied. Generally pretty comfy and punctual. Was good for backpacking as far as overnight busses go.

The journey from Koh Samui to Bangkok is described as a ferry / boat trip, there is no mention at all of any other mode of travel. The journey is actually a ferry back to Shurat
thani, then a shuttle bus, then a mini bus and finally an overnight coach journey the length of Thailand back to Bangkok. Not what is advertised and not what we expected. Book with caution!

It's a shame to have to wait 45 minutes and be late because the owner is negotiating the price with a customer for their excess luggage.
However, I commend the driver who was friendly and knowledgeable about good music.

First you take a boat from Koh Samui to Donsak pier which is okay, then you are taken to a parking lot where you board a van and from the van you drive about 1 hour to a very poor restaurant, they basically have fruits, beverages and salty rice or pasta to eat. You may have time to walk to 7/11 but who knows, they don't give any information so you have to guess. After waiting from 1h to 2h which they don't know precisely how much you board a bus that comes half full and drives about 6 hours to the first stop where is another very poor restaurant that they only have rice, snacks and some beverages and after that you are taken to Bangkok.

Communication wasn’t good. We got off the ferry trying to find the bus which ended up being a van to the bus which took another hour. No one communicated where and when we are going. I was with two kids and it felt very difficult. It was also pouring with rain and no one helped with the bags. The sleeper bus was ok, although it was freezing! And the worse part is that somehow money was stolen from my bag which was next to me while I was sleeping despite the bag being next to me the whole night. We used another company on our way to the islands and we felt a lot more secure. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all.

Your bus arrived over 1hr late. We waited 40min before & after schedule, as instructed. I paid extra to receive text updates and received nothing, despite calling multiple times. I had to pay for a new service and you refused to refund me. Wasted my time and money - Terrible service

Night ferry was good, on time and confortable beds to sleep.
Becareful about the scam in Surat Thani. The lady there was asking money to drop people on there hostel, even if it was 5min walk from the hotels and hostels.

We travelled from Koh Tao to Khao Sok overnight per ship and bus. When we boarded the ship they showed us our place to sleep and were shocked to find out that we had to sleep on matraces on the floor outside of the cabin because we apparently booked to late. They offered us to reschedule to the following day if we didn’t want to sleep outside but had already booked accommodation and tours. The ship ride was a little bit scary because the boat rocked a lot and we got sprayed with a bit of water from time to time. From the boat to the bus station we also got a lift from some sketchy people but we arrived on time at the destination.
